A solid ending to an action-packed, sci-fi trilogy. This series is hard to explain, sometimes harder to understand... But, for the sake of reviewing, I'll try. πŸ˜…The Starbound series follows the journeys of six individuals across three different books. In book one (These Broken Stars), we follow Tarver and Lilac's story. They meet and survive a deadly shipwreck from space, which lands them on an abandoned, mysterious planet. What Tarver and Lilac discover on that planet, or *who* they discover (...

I really liked how **Their Fractured Light (Starbound, #3) by Amie Kaufman** wrapped everything up, but something about it didn't grip me quite as much as the previous two books in the series. As far as young adult sci-fi book reviews go, this was a solid conclusion, just not my absolute favorite.

Wow! ❀That was a great ending to this trilogy! I loved the new characters that were introduced in this book, Sofia and Gideon. Sofia is out to kill Roderick LaRoux, the jerk of the book. Gideon is one of, if not *the* best hacker there is. They both get thrown together and eventually find out they basically want the same thing, but they both have major trust issues. It takes them until the end of the book to truly trust each other, and of course they fall in love because who can stop *that* from...

I'm so glad I finally finished this series, and that I really enjoyed it! I'm planning a full series review on my channel soon, but for now, here's a quick rundown of what I loved and didn't love about it. What I loved: - The relationship between Gideon and Sofia. I was a bit skeptical at first, but the dynamic between these characters really won me over. Gideon's a hacker, and Sofia's a con artist, and they're thrown together when their plans to infiltrate LaRoux Industries go sideways. They'v...

A fantastic ending to a series I absolutely adore!I thoroughly enjoyed following Gideon and Sophia's journey, and of course, it was a pleasure to reconnect with Lilac, Tarver, Flynn, and Jubilee. The tension and action were relentless; there were moments when I genuinely believed we were approaching the story's climax, only to realize there was still half the book left to devour! Amie Kaufman really knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat with Their Fractured Light (Starbound, #3). If you...

3.6 Stars So, Their Fractured Light is the last book in the Starbound series, and honestly? I'm still a little confused by the whole thing, especially the Whispers. I just couldn't wrap my head around it, and it was all a bit muddled for me...That said, I'm glad I finished the series, even though I started getting bored around chapter 30. The Characters Sofia Sofia is an orphan, and her father died because of Roderic LaRoux. Now all she wants is to kill him because he took everything she loved...

4.5-5 starsNow that Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner's Starbound trilogy has reached its conclusion, I can confidently say it's earned a spot on my all-time favorites shelf. Each book is as epic and intricate as the last, and it's easy to fall in love with both new and returning characters on every page. While each book in this companion series features a different couple, the plot constantly builds toward a grander picture. It amazes me how much detail must have gone into planning this entire se...
