Maybe 3.5 stars? I honestly don't know how I feel about this one. I will say, I liked it a lot more than *All Good People Here*, which Ashley Flowers also wrote. I was completely engrossed in *The Vanishing Sisters* the entire time I was reading, and found it super binge-worthy and interesting. But that ending?? I’m sorry, what was that?! 😅 If you're looking for a twisty thriller, Ashley Flowers' *The Vanishing Sisters* might be for you. Just be prepared for a controversial ending! #bookreview ...

4.0 stars—After reading "All Good People Here" by Ashley Flowers, I wasn’t happy. I reviewed the book and gave it a 2-star rating primarily because Ms. Flowers stopped the book without revealing what happened to the main character. I even mentioned I refused to read the sequel because of how she did her readers. Well, here I am again reading Ashley Flowers’ latest book, "The Vanishing Sisters," and I have to admit I’m glad I did. "The Vanishing Sisters" is a short, fast-paced novel that is told ...

I'm one of the few people who really enjoyed Ashley Flowers' first book, "All Good People Here." So, when I saw her newest release, *The Vanishing Sisters*, I was jumping for joy and couldn't wait to read it. Now, I did like this book, but I'm not going to lie—I still liked "All Good People Here" better. 🤫Nicole (Nic) Monroe is down on her luck and still working her teenage job at Funland when a stranger shows up one night to speak with her. This stranger is Jenna Connor. Both Jenna and Nic hav...

This fabulous novel really moved me. The main character became so real, her suffering became mine. What an unexpected gift to be completely immersed in a captivating story that tugged hard at my heartstrings. The writing was beautiful and the plot haunting. Ashley Flowers' "The Vanishing Sisters" is a brilliant book that I’ll never forget. If you're looking for compelling mystery book reviews, look no further!

I was reluctant to read this one because I had a difficult experience with Ashley Flowers' debut novel, "All Good People Here." But I was willing to give myself and this author another chance. To be honest, my experience was better with The Vanishing Sisters, BUT… What happens when 2 women go missing from the same area within 2 weeks of each other? In this instance, it becomes a cold case that haunts both surviving sisters of each known victim. After 7 years, Jenna, who lost her sister, Jules, c...

The last 15% of this book totally ruined it for me. No spoilers, but seriously? That's how *The Vanishing Sisters* by Ashley Flowers ends?! I was looking for a gripping thriller book review, and up until then, it delivered. But wow, that ending... just wow.

Hypnotic, addictive, and thoroughly twisted, The Vanishing Sisters took my expectations and ran them down before then reversing and repeating the maneuver. Not in a bad way, of course. No, quite the opposite, in fact, as Ashley Flowers delivered a plot that felt both perfectly crafted and beyond realistic. From the root-for-able amateur sleuths to the unguessable conclusion, there was no end to the winning attributes in this stunning slam dunk. And when I say unguessable, I truly mean it. As ine...

Seriously, what *was* that? I was so hyped for "The Vanishing Sisters" by Ashley Flowers, and honestly, I'm beyond let down. The big "plot twist"? Didn't make a lick of sense. There was so much filler, and after all that build-up, the reveal was rushed and completely unbelievable. I get it, it's fiction, but come on, give me something remotely plausible! Most of the characters in "The Vanishing Sisters" were downright awful, and people were committing crimes left and right with absolutely no con...

I absolutely devoured this book. Two girls vanish within a couple of weeks of each other, and years later, their two sisters join forces, determined to finally uncover the truth behind their disappearances. I could not put down "The Vanishing Sisters" by Ashley Flowers. This book is a must-read for fans of mystery book reviews and true crime. The ending completely blindsided me. I entertained countless scenarios as I read, but the actual resolution took me by surprise. I found "The Vanishing Sist...

Oh my goodness! You'll need a stiff drink after those final chapters of "The Vanishing Sisters" by Ashley Flowers! It sent shivers down my spine! Some of the twists completely blindsided me, and I'm still reeling – a mix of shock, sadness, and numbness all rolled into one! It's like shards of glass cutting through your skin! This is one of those books that burrows deep and stays with you. Every time you think about the ending, you'll find yourself teetering between bursting into tears and lettin...
