3 stars, rounding up!I'm afraid I couldn't quite finish "The Time Bubble" and had to give up around the 40% mark. I just found it so dull, with its main characters being loved-up, hormone-raging teenagers, bored police officers, and a former 'C' list celebrity battling a drinking problem. The story started out promisingly enough, with two teenagers discovering a "time portal" in a brand new pedestrian underpass. It's an original concept, and judging by the number of 5-star reviews, one that reso...

It's probably not fair to give this a rating since I barely read any of it.
I just couldn’t force myself to go past the first dozen pages.
Just wasn't for me. If you're looking for a quick book review: I'd skip "The Time Bubble" by Jason Ayres.

Truly DifferentLoved the story! As a huge fan of time travel stories, I really enjoyed "The Time Bubble" by Jason Ayres. The storytelling, however, was a bit more "simplistic" than I'm used to, hence the four stars instead of five. A few loose ends that Jason Ayres fails to tie up leave the reader scratching their head, but all that being said, it's a good story. Considering this is Jason Ayres' first book, I think, I would definitely recommend "The Time Bubble" for some light reading. If you en...

The premise is certainly interesting, and I don’t want to be overly critical, but I found the writing style in "The Time Bubble" by Jason Ayres to be rather amateurish. As far as book reviews go, I'd say this one needed a bit more polish.

What makes me give a book 5 stars? Because on the surface, *The Time Bubble* is another amateur attempt at a time travel story, complete with the grammatical slip-ups that often plague self-published authors. And yet, it's more than that. Despite giving average ratings to other works by Jason Ayres, this one somehow got under my skin and kept me completely hooked. So yes, it could use a good proofread (though it's nowhere near as bad as some). Yes, the concept has been done before. Yes, everythin...

I picked up "The Time Bubble" because I really enjoyed Jason Ayres' "My Tomorrow, Your Yesterday." "The Time Bubble" definitely kept me glued to the pages, even though I didn't find it quite as captivating as "My Tomorrow, Your Yesterday." But by the end, the story really made me think about what it would mean if time doubled every time someone went through the time bubble. I even started wondering if Peter ever needed to eat, drink, or, you know, use the restroom! It was pretty mind-bending, an...

Total waste of time
Absolutely no plot to speak of and the writing is incredibly childish. I only finished reading *The Time Bubble* in a day because I just wanted to be done with it. Seriously disappointing – don't waste your money. If you're looking for good **book reviews** or a decent **time travel book**, skip this one.

Another fun read from Jason Ayres! *The Time Bubble* is a great YA book packed with action and full of lively characters. Even though this is Ayres' first foray into fiction, I couldn't help but notice that his style and quality reminded me of Robert J. Sawyer at times. I honestly wish *The Time Bubble* was longer; Ayres should definitely consider writing books that are 300+ pages long! I'm really looking forward to reading the other two books in this series. For fans of exciting young adult fic...

I've read a ton of time travel stories, and Jason Ayres definitely brought a fresh and delightful perspective to the genre with *The Time Bubble*. The premise is simple: a time bubble is found in a newly excavated tunnel. Anyone who walks through it gets zapped forward in time, with the jump doubling each time someone enters. At first, it's just seconds, then minutes, then hours, giving our heroes time to wrap their heads around what's happening before the leaps become seriously ominous. It's li...

Two teenage boys discover something extraordinary—something beyond their control. When a friend vanishes, they can no longer keep their secret and are compelled to trust adults with the truth.
*The Time Bubble* by Jason Ayres is a fantastic book boasting a truly original plot. The mechanics of the time bubble fascinated me, and I appreciated the detailed attention the author gave to the time jumps. Exceptionally well done.
The beginning was a tad slow, but intriguing enough to hold my attentio...
