I really enjoyed this book, and the second installment as well. The language is straightforward, the action is fast-paced, and there are plenty of details. I'll definitely be finishing the rest of the series. Ryan Mullaney's *The Serpent's Fang (A Treasure Huntress Novel)* is a fun read for anyone looking for a quick adventure. This *The Serpent's Fang (A Treasure Huntress Novel)* review can't say enough good things!

A Real Page-Turner!
I absolutely devoured this book! Couldn't put it down for a second, and I'm already itching for the next one. What really grabbed me was Simone, the main character – she's so down-to-earth. I love that she's open to learning and digging deeper into her family history. Ryan Mullaney's *The Serpent's Fang (A Treasure Huntress Novel)* is a fantastic adventure story, perfect for anyone looking for a thrilling read. Highly recommend this action-packed book!

"'Cara Loft, Room Trader..."This book includes a rather lengthy note at the end where the author explains where he got the idea. Five words are all that were needed: "I ripped off Lara Croft." Because this is the closest I've seen to a literary version of an Asylum mockbuster movie, like Tomb Invader. Globe-trotting locator of lost artifacts? Check. Remarkable gymnastic abilities? Check. Orphan? Check. I think it was when I read, "Simone started to tie her hair into two braids," that the eye-rol...

Exciting adventure!A fun adventure tale very much in the spirit of Indiana Jones. The story revolves around a thrilling search for an ancient Aztec artifact, packed with action from start to finish. It's genuinely refreshing to see a heroine who experiences doubts and isn't arrogant or infallible. Ryan Mullaney's *The Serpent's Fang (A Treasure Huntress Novel)* is a real page-turner. I absolutely can't wait to dive into the next installment of this awesome series! If you love adventure books, th...

If the Tomb Raider video games and the Indiana Jones films had a book baby, it would be the Treasure Huntress series. And "The Serpent's Fang (A Treasure Huntress Novel)" by Ryan Mullaney kicks things off with a bang. The heroine, former superstar athlete Simone Cassidy, is way more than just a Lara Croft/Indiana Jones mashup. The exploration of her psyche is one of the book’s strongest, most intriguing points. The story's events hit Simone hard, and it's SO refreshing to see an action hero who'...

A Fantastic Launch to Epic AdventuresI absolutely loved this book, The Serpent's Fang (A Treasure Huntress Novel), by Ryan Mullaney. From the relentless, high-octane action sequences to the moments of profound self-reflection from the characters, I was completely captivated. What I appreciated most about the story is that it genuinely felt like the dawn of something bigger for Simone, our protagonist. It left me eager to continue reading the series and see how she evolves throughout this treasur...

Not impressedYou'll immediately think of "Lara Croft." I'm not sure if that's the intention, but that's definitely what happens. The problem is, *The Serpent's Fang (A Treasure Huntress Novel)* isn't quite as good, and well...On a more personal note, the character, Simone, makes a casual remark to a doctor that being bitten by a copperhead is like a "bad day at the office." Speaking from experience, being bitten by a copperhead or cottonmouth is EXACTLY like having poison injected directly into ...

A promising start to what looks like a fantastic series! "The Serpent's Fang (A Treasure Huntress Novel)" by Ryan Mullaney feels like a thrilling blend of Indiana Jones and Lara Croft, but with a focus on good, clean adventure. If you're looking for a fun escape, this book is a great choice. Definitely a book review highlight for adventure fans!

Ryan Mullaney has cemented his place as one of my absolute favorite authors, consistently delivering books that grab you from the first page and don't let go until the very end. His previous novels have been packed with action and suspense – exactly the kind of thrill ride I crave. "The Serpent's Fang (A Treasure Huntress Novel)", the opening book in his brand-new adventure series, delivers all those same elements that I've come to love.Simone is basically a super-athlete, jet-setting around the...
