Absolutely incredible. I stayed up until 4 am finishing the audiobook because I simply couldn't put The Rosie Project down. Paying for it with sleep deprivation this morning! This is easily one of my favorite books I've read in recent memory. If you're looking for great audiobook recommendations, or just a really charming book, Graeme Simsion's The Rosie Project is it.

Actual rating: 3.5 starsFrom the moment I finished it, I knew I had one critical task to perform: To review this project book, specifically, "The Rosie Project" by Graeme Simsion. This is a book review you won't want to miss! Although the timing is particularly annoying, I realized that the several options I faced made my choice incredibly clear.➊ Not reviewing "The Rosie Project", resulting in damage to this book's fame, which would be appalling due to the fact that it's fucking awesome.➋ Resch...

Utterly charming & just so, so cute. The unique voice of the main character, Don Tillman, is enough to make you believe a love story could blossom anywhere. This rom-com borrows a bit from different movies, especially, it seems, the 1997 film "As Good As It Gets." Definitely worth a read; it's highly likely that Graeme Simsion's *The Rosie Project* will be adapted into a film soon (the novel was originally written as a screenplay, surprise!). If you're looking for lighthearted book reviews, put ...

Sheldon in love.

Adorable and fun. Probably one of the most enjoyable rom-com books I've read, ironically, written by a man.

On the other hand, not nearly enough sex in it.

If you're looking for feel-good book reviews, definitely check out Graeme Simsion's *The Rosie Project*.

This book treats Autism like Pretty Woman treated prostitution – it exploits it for entertainment and mines it for laughs. It reads like a cheesy 1970s sitcom. The character of Don feels like nothing more than fan fiction based on The Big Bang Theory, and Rosie seems like the perfect embodiment of The Cool Girl archetype described in Gone Girl. She's too contrived and quirky to be believable. Don himself is simply a figure of fun, moving from scene to scene for our amusement in a "what will he do...

I thoroughly enjoyed "The Rosie Project." It was very amusing and clever. The protagonist Don is definitely a clichéd version of someone with Asperger's, but I think he had to be for the purposes of the novel. He sits on the very end of the spectrum and embodies every single stereotypical attribute of an Aspie. At one point I cringed at the end of "The Rosie Project" when he is struggling about whether he feels love or not. Not accurate for someone with Asperger's - they actually have intense em...

What a shame! What a shame Graeme Simsion wrote *The Rosie Project* "quickly" and that he went with a "comedy rather than a drama". What a shame that the opportunity to educate and illuminate was squandered and traded for gratuitous laughs, extreme generalizations, and blatant stereotyping. My initial delight at realizing the subject matter of *The Rosie Project* meant I was immediately enrolled in 'the project.' A third of the way into the book, I became uncomfortable with the tenor and theme. ...

‘The Rosie Project’ by Graeme Simsion is simply wonderful. I'm going to try and list everything I loved about this novel; 1. Don Tillman is an Associate Professor of genetics at the University of Melbourne. He's a black-belt in Aikido and can cook a killer lobster salad. He also has Asperger's syndrome – but he doesn't realize it. Don just thinks something's missing, leaving him baffled by human behavior and making him unappealing to others (especially women). But after his dear old neighbor s...

Don Tillman is an Associate Professor of Genetics with (probably) Asperger’s Syndrome who's decided that, nearing 40, he'll solve “the wife problem” (i.e., not being married) by creating a questionnaire to ascertain the perfect wife and then marry her. That is, until he meets Rosie, a grad student working part-time in a gay bar who’s looking for her biological father, and slowly Don’s “Wife Project” becomes "The Rosie Project" as he realizes he’s falling in love with her. I say Don *probably* h...
