Yes, I have a lot of books, and if this is your first visit to my amazon author page, it can be a little overwhelming. If you are new to my work, let me recommend a few titles as good places to start. I love my Dan Shamble, Zombie P.I. series, humorous horror/mysteries, which begin with DEATH WARMED OVER. My steampunk...

It wasn't quite as gripping as the first two books, but "The Lost Ones (Star Wars: Young Jedi Knights, #3)" by Kevin J. Anderson is still a solid read. I'm definitely eager to see how the story and characters continue to develop. Looking forward to the next installment!

I honestly don't get it. These books should be great, considering their background... but they feel like they're from some alternate reality compared to today's Young Adult Star Wars stories. There's something so forced and awkward about them... almost ridiculously so, especially considering Kevin J. Anderson, one of the co-authors, also wrote novels like "Darksaber". I just can't connect with them, no matter how hard I try or how much I want to like "The Lost Ones (Star Wars: Young Jedi Knights...

The Lost Ones (Star Wars: Young Jedi Knights, #3) by Kevin J. Anderson.Pro: A genuinely good story with some solid character development. Really enjoyable!Con: "The Lost Ones," who the title refers to, could have been featured more prominently in the plot. I was hoping to see more of them.Overall, this was a really good read, and I'd definitely pick up The Lost Ones (Star Wars: Young Jedi Knights, #3) again. A solid 5 stars from me. I absolutely adore these stories; they're so underrated! Jaina is what Rey could only dream of being.
If you're looking for a great Star Wars book, especially if you are into the Young Jedi Knights series by Kevin J. Anderson, check out "The Lost Ones (Star Wars: Young Jedi Knights, #3)". It's a gem!

This is a perfectly fine Star Wars EU novel. It's a little simplistic, especially since it's aimed at younger readers (technically YA, but honestly, it feels like it's been dumbed down to a juvenile level, which is a bit insulting to other juvenile books that don't feel so condescending). But that explains why things like a potential romance between Jacen and Tamith Kai seem to appear completely out of the blue in Kevin J. Anderson's *The Lost Ones (Star Wars: Young Jedi Knights, #3)*. If you're...

Quick Take:
Ugh...this one was way more frustrating than the previous books. I like Brakiss's conversations with Zekk – he actually makes some good points. But the story drags, the titular Lost Ones are practically ghosts, and there’s a ton of Protagonist-Centered Morality and even more blatant class privilege.

Jaina and Jacen return to Coruscant with their friends, Lowbacca and Tenel Ka. They're meeting up with their previously unmentioned friend, Zekk, a scrappy orphan who scra...

The Solo family on Coruscant is almost like something out of *Keeping Up with the Kardashians*.
While Jacen continues to practice his one-liners before a test audience, *The Lost Ones (Star Wars: Young Jedi Knights, #3)* relies far too much on previous source material.
"Stay on target," "Don't get cocky kids," "scruffy-looking," tauntauns, banthas, even Em Teedee has a moment with Threepio! (Thank the maker?) Em Teedee is fluent in over six forms of communication, whereas Threepio is fluent in...

Not quite as captivating as the earlier books in the series.
EDIT: I found myself enjoying *The Lost Ones (Star Wars: Young Jedi Knights, #3)* more upon a second reading. A decent addition to any Star Wars book review collection.

This was my first real look at Coruscant beyond the movies, and it gave me a glimpse into its gritty underbelly. The twins and their friends from the Jedi academy head home for a bit and reconnect with Jaina and Jacen's old pal, Zekk. The stark contrast in their backgrounds creates some tension. I really appreciated seeing how they interacted with Zekk and reacted to his upbringing and living situation. While they've always lived pretty privileged lives as the kids of the Chief of State, Zekk's ...

The third book in the *Young Jedi Knights* series, *The Lost Ones*, really shines with heart and humor. Anderson introduces some cool new characters while continuing to flesh out the ones we already know and love. The pacing stumbles a bit near the end, and there's a reveal that's honestly kind of confusing (I'm really hoping it's not what it seems!), which keeps *The Lost Ones* from getting a full 5 stars from me. Still a great read for any *Star Wars* fan looking for a fun young adult adventur...
