It's a shame to see the series conclude. "The House That Jack Built: A Time Scout Thriller" offers a fantastic glimpse into historical periods. Robert Lynn Asprin really delivered on this one. If you're looking for a good historical fiction book review, definitely check this series out!

The Time Scout series always offered a great balance, leaning heavily into serious storytelling (around 90%) while still leaving room for a bit of fun (the other 10%). If you're looking for exciting science fiction books, Robert Lynn Asprin's *The House That Jack Built: A Time Scout Thriller* is a solid pick.

This is an interesting book, and quite a departure from some of Robert Lynn Asprin's other works. The House That Jack Built: A Time Scout Thriller was a good read. If you're looking for a fun science fiction book review, check this one out.

A continuation of *The House That Jack Built: A Time Scout Thriller* that drags in places, but really picks up the pace towards the end. It's clearly written to set up more sequels, which sadly we'll never get to read due to Robert Lynn Asprin's untimely death. This isn't a book to jump into without having read *Time Scout*, *Wagers of Sin*, and *Ripping Time* first. Definitely not my favorite series by this author, but still a decent read for Asprin fans. Looking for more time travel book revie...

Since when is Sandringham in Scotland? Seriously, though, if you're looking for a fast-paced, time-traveling adventure that'll make you question everything you thought you knew about history (and geography!), then Robert Lynn Asprin's "The House That Jack Built: A Time Scout Thriller" is your next read. It's a wild ride, perfect for fans of thriller books and anyone who enjoys a good historical head-scratcher. Just be prepared to Google some locations… and maybe even double-check a map or two!

I've loved this series, and *The House That Jack Built: A Time Scout Thriller* was probably the best installment yet. Although, I'm not a huge fan of 'to be continued' endings, and this book is essentially part two of one of those. But, that minor gripe aside, I really enjoyed *The House That Jack Built: A Time Scout Thriller* by Robert Lynn Asprin. Definitely a worthwhile read for fans of the Time Scout series! If you're looking for a great science fiction book review, I highly recommend checki...

What more can I say? I loved this story (books 3 and 4 of the Time Scout series—*Ripping Time* and *The House That Jack Built: A Time Scout Thriller* form a two-parter).Going back in time to determine the actual identity of Jack the Ripper… what a cool premise. And Robert Lynn Asprin did everything right, giving authentic and authoritative details that allow you to enjoy the novel on multiple levels. Have a Wikipedia page open to Jack the Ripper and you'll see that every event in *The House That...

Oh, bother. When I first read "The House That Jack Built: A Time Scout Thriller" by Robert Lynn Asprin, I adored it. I gave it four stars for its creativity, characters, and plot. I loved how Asprin interwove the known facts of the Jack the Ripper case with the events unfolding for the characters in the book. The steampunk elements of the entire series were fantastic. I even understood why the author found it necessary to invent a completely new character to pin the murders on. What I absolutel...
