This was such a cute read!! I've been all about second chance romances this year, so I was super excited to pick up Laurie Gilmore's *The Gingerbread Bakery*!I love Annie and Mac so much!! Especially after reading all the other books in this series! I was just waiting for their story because I knew I'd end up loving it!The only thing I didn't totally love was that the ending felt a bit rushed, and I wish the beginning of *The Gingerbread Bakery* had moved a little faster so we could have gotten ...

There's just no excuse for making your friend cry at HER rehearsal dinner because you (a grown adult in your thirties, mind you) can't manage to behave and keep your mouth shut, all because, boo-hoo, your one-month fling from 11 years ago ended on a sour note. Seriously? If you're looking for relatable characters behaving badly, you won't find them in Laurie Gilmore's "The Gingerbread Bakery". This book, "The Gingerbread Bakery", is a lesson in how NOT to act. For more insightful book reviews, k...

Seriously, why was tracking down this random old grandma the central plot of "The Gingerbread Bakery" by Laurie Gilmore? I'm all for a cozy mystery, but this felt like a bizarre detour. Like, did we really need a whole subplot dedicated to finding Nana Mildred? I’m still scratching my head. This book review is definitely going to focus on *that*.

☆☆☆☆.25The Gingerbread Bakery turned out to be my second favorite book in this cozy series, just a hair behind The Cinnamon Bun Book Store, which is still my number one.I'll be honest, I'm usually not the biggest fan of second-chance romances, so I started reading with a little hesitation. But Annie and Mac's story totally won me over. Their history felt real, and their reunion had just the right amount of warmth and slow-burn tension, with enough drama to keep things interesting. It was both he...

We're finally getting Annie and Mac!!!! Can I really wait a whole year for this??? No way!!!Update: Annie and Mac totally delivered in the cutest way imaginable! However, I was a little disappointed we didn't get more of them, especially since their whole rekindled romance storyline was based around Jeanie and Logan's wedding in "The Gingerbread Bakery" by Laurie Gilmore. I mean, I get it, since they're all great friends. All in all, an amazing story and the witty banter was absolutely top-notch...
