3¼⭐MOODS…➨ Time Travel to the land of Dinosaurs ➨ Action & Adventure ➨ Even the Veggie eaters get in on the killing…If you're just here for the dinosaur buffet of humans... then you might love this. Because "The Dinosaur Four" has minimal plot explanations and little to no character development. It *does* have quite a few species of dinosaurs, though, so it'll scratch that prehistoric itch. Perfect if you're looking for a fun dinosaur book!◾Narrated by: 🎙️ Nick Podehl📣 One of my favorites beca...

Alright, maybe jumping into *The Dinosaur Four* right after reading a Jurassic Park book wasn't the smartest move... but hey, I went for it. *The Dinosaur Four* definitely had its moments, but it also felt like a bit of a slog at times. I think the world-building was kind of weak. There wasn't much to latch onto, and coming straight from the immersive world of Jurassic Park, well, it was a bit disappointing. On the bright side, the dinosaurs themselves were the highlight. I enjoyed reading about...

I really enjoyed The Dinosaur Four. My only disappointment was the "villain's" ending (because even in a book where dinosaurs are trying to eat you, there *has* to be a bad guy, right? Not that I'm complaining, it was a good storyline). It felt really anticlimactic, and I was hoping Geoff Jones had something much, much worse in store for him. If you're looking for a fun dinosaur adventure book review, I recommend giving The Dinosaur Four a read!

Okay, so *The Dinosaur Four* by Geoff Jones isn't going to win any awards, but honestly? It's not the *worst* dinosaur time-travel story I've ever picked up. The beginning's a bit of a slog, and the descriptions of the Cretaceous period are so basic, it's hard to really picture the world. Plus, we get way too much inside the head of this one seriously creepy character – ugh. But, to be fair, the dinosaurs themselves are pretty scientifically accurate, and the second half really picks up the pace...

Ever since dinosaurs were first described in 1815, they've fascinated and enchanted just about everyone. They were so unlike anything living today that we all wished we could travel back in time to see them. The truth is, even if we could, our fascination would give way to terror pretty quickly. The prehistoric world was a pretty violent place.
Like most kids, I was definitely spellbound by paleontology and have maintained a keen interest ever since. I just love any dino-related fiction, which ...

A truly great, action-packed, and thrilling novel! I absolutely couldn't put "The Dinosaur Four" down. The premise – people in a café suddenly transported back to the age of dinosaurs – immediately grabbed me, and I had to give Geoff Jones's book a try. The character development is fantastic, and their interactions felt so real. I even found myself intensely disliking one character, which is always the mark of a good writer who can stir up strong emotions in the reader. Geoff Jones really brings...

This was a surprisingly fun read. Geoff Jones's *The Dinosaur Four* is quite short, but manages to move along at a nice pace. It's essentially the classic adventure/survival tale, with a bit of time travel thrown in for flavor, and manages to answer its own time travel questions at the end. If you are looking for exciting dinosaur books, this might be your next read!
On the whole, a quick, enjoyable read.

Well done!
Well-paced, well-written, and well-edited, "The Dinosaur Four" is a fantastic read. Geoff Jones delivers a twisted tale of disastrous, accidental time travel back to when dinosaurs ruled the earth, and then, fifteen hours later, back to the future. In a landscape teeming with territorial herbivorous and carnivorous giants, how long do *you* think *you* would survive? Highly recommended for anyone looking for a thrilling dinosaur book!

It's been a while since I devoured a truly kick-ass action/adventure novel, especially a kick-ass dinosaur thriller. I tore through "The Dinosaur Four" by Geoff Jones like a T-Rex hunting down a midday snack – in this case, a group of Denver city dwellers who get zapped back to the age of dinosaurs. Now they have to figure out how to get back home without being squashed, trampled, or otherwise devoured. The book features a solid, believable cast of characters, smart sci-fi elements that aren't o...
