"They told us they’d found Immunes, and if we could just figure out why their brains don’t succumb to the virus, why then the whole world would be saved! While in the meantime, cities crumble; education, security, medicine for every other malady known to man, charity, humanitarian aid – the whole world goes to pot so WICKED can do whatever they want to do."Thankfully I read this book before COVID-19 took over the world because I think right now I wouldn’t be able to stomach dystopian science fic...

This book absolutely DESTROYED me. I'm a total emotional wreck right now, ugh.

description

Honestly, I think I preferred the movie adaptation of James Dashner's *The Death Cure*. The movie was just way more intense and captivating. If you're looking for YA dystopian book reviews, maybe start with the film!

Wait, are you seriously telling me the government completely foresaw every single move, and this was exactly what was supposed to happen?Again?Between the all-knowing governments and the oh-so-convenient memory loss, this book really lost me.Everything is so freaking convenient.The Maze Runner was intriguing, I'll give it that.The Scorch Trials went a little off the rails.But *The Death Cure* by James Dashner? This one is so far out of the ballpark we're in another dimension.The Main Pain: Chara...

1.5 stars It's a very old axiom, but do you believe the end can justify the means? When there's no choice left? NO. No, I do not. Especially when the end, which in this case is the supposed resolution of 900+ pages' worth of suspense and mystery, ultimately ends up being bullshit. There is no explanation for anything and what little there is turns out to be the biggest fuckfest I have ever had the misfortune to read. Honestly, this book is a huge letdown.The Maze Runner trilogy started off wit...

Well, that was a major letdown. Was it just me, or did it feel like James Dashner had absolutely no clue where he was going with "The Death Cure"? I still feel like 90% of the book was left unexplained. And for me, it was a total cop-out to have Thomas refuse to get his memories back. If Thomas, our main character, doesn't remember, then Dashner doesn’t have to bother coming up with an explanation. I'm not even going to bother listing all the questions I still have because there are tons of the...

Okay, where do I even begin with *The Death Cure* by James Dashner...?First, the title: *The Death Cure*. A little misleading, perhaps? I THINK SO!! There's NO cure. There's not even a glimmer of hope for a cure! Should we all just give up on our ridiculous plan to save the world, which, by the way, ended up having absolutely NO medical support whatsoever! La de dah de dah!! *The Death Cure* my foot.Second, this book really got me thinking.... why the heck is Thomas the chosen one? I don't know ...

This book was... *wait a moment*Let me bang my head against a wall until James Dashner proves there's one more book coming, or if this book, *The Death Cure*, was just a really, really elaborate joke.Omigosh. Do not tell me that *The Death Cure* is the last book of this trilogy. Do not tell me that the author just didn't answer all the questions we were waiting for. And please do not freaking tell me that this is what we readers are getting after being such huge fans of both *The Maze Runner* an...

A message to everyone reading this review: Hi! It's great to chat about *The Death Cure* with you all. Please excuse the occasional grammatical slip-up in my review. Looking back, I even find myself disagreeing with, well, myself! When I get a chance to re-read the entire Maze Runner trilogy and its prequel, I'll give each book another review. Hopefully, I'll do justice to what is undoubtedly one of the best dystopian novels I've ever devoured. I'm leaving this review up in the meantime, so feel...

...okay, I think I've made my point. (:

CANNOT WAITTTT! Why do authors love to torture us?! ;___;

Seriously though, James Dashner's *The Death Cure* has me on pins and needles. As far as young adult dystopian fiction goes, this series is killer. If you're looking for exciting book reviews, look no further!

GAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! I just read the synopsis on Barnes & Noble's website and it sounds totally EPIC! Cannot wait!***5th most popular book this month... Alright, Dashner!!!***DANG, I actually did not fancy this book at all.Ugh!!!! I hate to say it, but I was extremely disappointed by the finale of The Maze Runner series, *The Death Cure*. It was written well, like the other books, but I have to say that the plot and the end were terrible. I can't even describe how disappointed I am because I lo...
