All the pieces of a cracking detective story are present and accounted for. However, the way Anthony Hulse executes them in "The Abduction of Grace" somehow falls a bit flat. It's a shame, because the potential was definitely there. For fans of detective novels, it might still be worth a look, but don't expect a groundbreaking thriller.

Anthony Hulse is such a terrible writer, I found it absolutely riveting to read *The Abduction of Grace*. It's just overflowing with clichés. Two senior British police officers acting like illiterate security guards on a flight to Majorca! That was the last straw for me. Save your money! If you're looking for compelling thriller books, skip this one.

Honestly, I think *The Abduction of Grace* gets a bad rap from some reviewers. I was hooked from page one and found it a super easy read. It actually brought to mind a similar true crime story about another little girl who vanished years ago. Sadly, that child was never found. In *The Abduction of Grace*, Grace is snatched while her family is on vacation. Even with reported sightings over the years, only those directly involved know where she is.Grace’s parents, of course, face the usual accusat...

Desperately Needs an Editor
Anthony Hulse's *The Abduction of Grace* is a poorly written novel that desperately needs an editor to whip it into readable shape. Honestly, I can't recommend it. If you're looking for a good book, this isn't it. Save your money and find something else to read. As far as book reviews go, this one's short and sweet: skip this one.

A solid read. The story flows well, and it's an easy book to get into, with a pretty engaging plot. My only real issue was that the last 30% or so of Anthony Hulse's *The Abduction of Grace* was peppered with the F-bomb a little too liberally. It got old fast. If you're looking for a decent thriller and don't mind some strong language, *The Abduction of Grace* is worth checking out. Consider this a balanced book review for those considering whether or not to read *The Abduction of Grace*.

My rating: 3.5 stars"The Abduction of Grace" by Anthony Hulse kicked off with a heart-pounding start, immediately throwing us into the terrifying abduction of 5-year-old Grace. However, around the 25% mark, the story's momentum noticeably waned, and it felt like it was wandering aimlessly for a while. Thankfully, the pace picked up again towards the end, culminating in the unveiling of Grace's abductor and the chilling backstory behind it all. Overall, "The Abduction of Grace" is a decent read, ...
