Good story
"Tears of Glass" turned out to be something very different from what I was expecting. In parts, I found myself lost until I started piecing it all together. David Lake delivers a story that keeps you guessing, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a suspenseful read. A great book for those who enjoy mystery book reviews!

Throughout "Tears of Glass" by David Lake, I kept feeling like I'd read something similar, but, frankly, better. It never really grabbed me. At times it felt ridiculous, but not in a funny, enjoyable way. Everyone else seems to love it, so maybe it's just me. If you're looking for compelling book reviews, this one isn't going to be glowing.

An interesting weave of plots and characters in David Lake's *Tears of Glass*.

I found "Tears of Glass" by David Lake to be a very interesting listen, but also quite confusing at times. I really enjoyed the twists and turns, some of which were genuinely shocking. There were a few moments where my jaw dropped, and I thought, "Oh my!" I never really got a solid grasp on the overall plot, besides the fact that the high-level government wants Morgan dead because they believe he knows something he shouldn't. I never quite understood what was so important about the tape; from wh...

Tears of Glass feels more like a screenplay than a novel. There were several moments where visual cues would have significantly helped the reader get a better handle on what was happening. As a book review, I have to say, it felt a little disjointed at times.
Morgan is an ex-football player who seems to be clinging to the nostalgia of his glory days. He’s got that classic ‘bad boy’ thing going on, but without the excessive hostility or emotional baggage. Which, I guess, is a good thing consider...

David Lake's Tears of Glass is a fantastically well-written, fast-paced story that kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. The scene-setting is perfect, and the character development is amazing. Lake's writing is extremely vivid, and his attention to detail deserves endless praise. He makes picturing the story incredibly easy, and despite being quite complex, it's surprisingly easy to fully grasp the narrative. Trust me, I enjoyed reading every single bit of it. This is a must-read...

**Audiobook Review**Mind BendingThere is so much going on in Tears of Glass. It reminded me of the Jason Bourne series. When former football star, now an architect, John Morgan's drinking becomes out of control, he hooks up with a debutante of sorts. Suddenly, people around Morgan are dying all sorts of bizarre and violent deaths. Why is he being singled out and where can he turn to stop the bloodshed? From the Queen's own secret branch of thugs to the CIA and Russians there is something going on...

My original Tears of Glass audiobook review and many others can be found at Audiobook Reviewer."Tears of Glass" by David Lake is a truly unique listening experience. The production is unlike anything I've heard, cleverly weaving the written word together with a soundtrack of music that perfectly captures the late 60s and 80s. The music really connects, bringing back memories of a bygone era while pulling you in with its infectious beats and lyrics.Morgan is a man who feels like a failure in ever...

Absolutely outstanding! I was completely hooked from the very first chapter of David Lake's "Tears of Glass" and utterly mesmerized by the fantastic characters and the story's seamless flow. The author has truly gone above and beyond, masterfully blending a book and a musical into one elaborate, captivating experience. I absolutely loved it! Finally, an interactive book for adults that is both stimulating to the mind, calming to the heart, and soothing to the ears. Kudos to David Lake for this w...

Excellent and thought-provoking. It’s like a cross between *Dr. Strangelove* and *Easy Rider*. The copy I own even came with a cassette tape of original music by a fantastic singer-songwriter, and the tracks are an integral part of the story.
A failed quarterback, failed husband, and failed architect flees to the LA deserts when he realizes someone is trying to kill him. He meets a girl, and they both become targets.
They have no idea why, but it all started when the main character, Morgan, fo...
