As with several of my reviews on Goodreads, I want to disclose that I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
Now that's out of the way, let's get to it. đ
Another confession: I got "Sight of Demons (Master of Perceptions Book 1)" over two months ago, and I only just started reading it two days ago. Why? Well, life happened.
Let's dive in.
Despite Darin C. Brown's suggestion not to read the prologue first, I decided to go for it. What can I say? It was too tempting! đ
And yea...

As a voracious reader, you often pick up a book and figure out where it's going, or at least how it might end, by the halfway point. But you still finish the ride anyway. In *Sight of Demons (Master of Perceptions Book 1)*, Darin C. Brown has successfully crafted a beautiful piece that's totally unpredictable for the average reader and utterly endearing for anyone looking for a good fantasy read.Step into the world of Hunter, a young boy supposedly suffering from autism who can see colorful demo...

I genuinely enjoyed this book. Not only did I find the read engaging, but it was also very well-written.
Honestly, what initially caught my attention was the promise of demons, but with a little heads-up, I realized I wouldn't be getting that particular satisfaction. However, after getting through a few pages of Sight of Demons (Master of Perceptions Book 1) by Darin C. Brown, I found it interesting and completely forgot about my initial expectations.

When I first saw the title and synopsis for *Sight of Demons (Master of Perceptions Book 1)* by Darin C. Brown, I thought, 'Okay, another fantasy book about demons.' I completely skipped checking the genre tags and just dove right in. So, after the Prologue and half of the first chapter, I was seriously confused, wondering what was going on with this kid. When I finally realized what it was *actually* about, I was pleasantly surprised and really intrigued to see how the story would unfold. In *Si...

Young Hunter isn't your typical pre-teen. He's been diagnosed with autism, but he's so much more than that label. Hunter is an extraordinary boy, yet he feels trapped inside his own head by visions of demons. Is this just how this particular autistic boy copes with the world, shutting out what's difficult to process, or is there something more to Hunter's visions? In 'Sight of Demons (Master of Perceptions Book 1)', Darin C. Brown takes us into Hunter's world and shows us that everyone has the po...

I don't usually go for stories like this, but "Sight of Demons (Master of Perceptions Book 1)" by Darin C. Brown really surprised me. It wasn't as over-the-top as a lot of stories about people who are 'different' tend to be. I was hooked from the very first chapter and read it in one sitting because I just *had* to know what was going to happen next.
It's well-written with a compelling storyline and plot. The characters are well-developed and evolve nicely throughout the story. The theme of an ...

I received this ebook as part of a Goodreads giveaway, and here's my honest review.
I really wanted to give "Sight of Demons (Master of Perceptions Book 1)" more stars, but I'm settling on 3.5 simply because of how long it took me to get through it. I had a tough time initially getting invested, though it did get pretty good eventually. I felt like the child's internal monologue was a little *too* detailed, but maybe that's due to the autism spectrum he's on. *shrugs* I loved the core concept o...

Darin C. Brown's *Sight of Demons (Master of Perceptions Book 1)* is an intriguing and well-written story about a boy diagnosed with an extreme form of autismâthough we soon discover it might be something far more extraordinary. In some ways, it's a tale of childhood trauma, the strength of self-will, and the rise of a new kind of superhero. Once I was hooked, I thoroughly enjoyed the protagonist's gradual emergence from the void. This includes detailed chess and anatomy lessons from his grandfa...
