A fantastic suspenseful, sci-fi, military thriller set in modern times—well, modern as of 2012, because that's when Jeremy Robinson wrote *SecondWorld*. Think *thriller* meets ripped-from-the-headlines sci-fi.Flashback to 1945 Germany: World War II is ending, but SS scientists are cooking up a world-ending device. Fast forward almost 70 years, and Miami, along with two other major cities, has been attacked by something that's designed to kill *everyone*.It's up to one SEAL operator to escape the...

4.5 Stars I'm giving "SecondWorld" by Jeremy Robinson a solid 4.5 stars. Why not a full 5? Honestly, it's pure personal preference. Robinson's pacing is relentless, the action is non-stop, and the concepts are mind-bendingly awesome. If you're after a sci-fi thriller that grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go until the very last page, then "SecondWorld" is absolutely for you. Jeremy Robinson has this knack for blending high-concept science fiction with pulse-pounding action sequences. Th...

I just revisited the audiobook version of *SecondWorld* by Jeremy Robinson, and it was even better than the first time I listened. Lincoln Miller is an ex Navy Seal who can take care of himself in any situation. This story takes him all over the world, and the precarious situations he finds himself in will leave you breathless. A very fast-paced story with great character interaction. I love Cowboy! If you're looking for thrilling audiobook recommendations, give *SecondWorld* a listen.

I started listening to this on Playaway, but I had to stop because of the disturbing opening scene. I ended up getting the print copy, and I'm so glad I picked it up again, because SecondWorld absolutely rocked!Warning: If you hate Nazis, you'll either love this book, or your hatred for Nazis will be inflamed to even greater heights. The Nazis (and all their modern counterparts) seriously suck (and that's putting it mildly), inspiring many violent thoughts in my head as I read. I think SecondWor...

I'm going to be real—some parts of SecondWorld are unintentionally hilarious. No spoilers here, but that final scene? So over the top, it's gotta be a wink from Jeremy Robinson himself. But honestly, I can look past all that because the core concept is just incredible. It's got that delicious sci-fi action, grounded just enough in reality to make it totally awesome. Five stars from me. If you're looking for a wild ride and a great sci-fi book review, SecondWorld is definitely worth checking out.

I absolutely devoured this book from beginning to end. It's a wild, exhilarating, adrenaline-fueled adventure and honestly, one of the best books I've picked up in ages. A real page-turner! If you're a fan of high-octane adventures and haven't stumbled upon Jeremy Robinson yet, seriously, treat yourself and dive into SecondWorld. You won't regret it. I'm already itching to read more about Lincoln Miller. He's definitely giving King and the Chess Team a run for their money. Highly recommend fo...

The opening was absolutely five stars, but once the hero gets out of immediate danger, things got a bit dull. It bogged down with too much history and exposition. Honestly, I just skipped ahead to the end to see how it all wrapped up. If you're looking for fast-paced action, SecondWorld by Jeremy Robinson might slow down for you in the middle.

Lincoln Miller, ex-Navy Seal turned NCIS agent, is sent to investigate the Aquarius underwater facility in the Florida Keys. He immediately notices something is off. The sky is a blazing red, with red specks falling from above. Fish are dying. Once ashore, Lincoln discovers the world is under attack. Someone has depleted the planet's oxygen supply. People are dying from the lack of oxygen, and the specks falling from the sky are all that remains of civilization. Miller must uncover who is behind...

Hold on to your hats, folks – Miami gets OBLITERATED in Jeremy Robinson's *SecondWorld*! We're not talking about the basketball team; the ENTIRE CITY is toast! LeBron James can forget about more rings once Navy SEAL Lincoln Miller saves the planet from the resurrected Nazi menace unleashed in *SecondWorld*. Yep, you read that right: resurrected Nazis. Apparently, history's biggest bad guys are back to try and conquer the world seven decades after their last humiliating defeat. Miller and his sc...

I read a ton of YA books, and they usually fall into paranormal/fantasy, sci-fi, and dystopian genres, with a few outliers. I enjoy them, some immensely. But they don’t give me *that* thrill. That rush of adrenaline I'd been missing. Then I picked up Jeremy Robinson's latest thriller, SecondWorld. He writes like James Rollins and Matt Reilly – somewhat improbable plots, improbable feats of daring-do, etc. But they're fun and enjoyable, and they all excel at bringing characters to life. That's ex...
