A delightful Christmas story featuring the Time Police, also known as the world's most helpless and incompetent—yet terrifying—faceless enforcers. This one focuses on the marvelous Grint (a massive thug with a soft spot, but only for, like, two people in the entire world) as he deals with a sad orphan boy. I'm really enjoying catching up with this series, and especially how the 'male romance star' energy has shifted from Luke (that obnoxious rich boy type who usually gets to be the hero and have...

Ah, these short but highly entertaining Christmas stories are always more than welcome! Especially when they involve the Time Police. It's Christmas (yes, I know I'm late, sue me) and the Time Police has decided / possibly been roped into giving a Christmas party, complete with funny games, for the children of an orphanage. It's none other than Lt. Grint who makes a fateful acquaintance that ends with him, Jane, and a temporal anomaly causing mayhem... or potentially saving the day. Depending on ...

These Christmas-themed time-travel shorts are a staple for me now, and yet, this one was late! Alas!
Fortunately, we still get a Tiny Tim story and a bubble universe, so all's good. :) If you're looking for a quick and festive read, Jodi Taylor's *Santa Grint (The Time Police, #4.5)* delivers the usual dose of quirky time-travel adventures. As far as Christmas book reviews go, this one's a cheerful little escape.

This is my absolute favorite of Jodi Taylor's Christmas novellas. It's pure *Time Police* – no St. Mary's shenanigans here! That gives "Santa Grint (The Time Police, #4.5)" a different feel from her usual holiday stories. It's utterly delightful and just leaves me craving the next full-length novel. If you're looking for a fun, quick read for the holidays, or just a taste of Jodi Taylor's unique brand of time-traveling adventure, check out this book review and grab "Santa Grint." You won't regre...

Don't let the title fool you. This isn't really a Christmas story, though there *is* a Christmas party for orphans where Grint is bombarded by kids who, much like cats, find the one person in the room who likes them the least and glom onto him.
Grint wants to build some goodwill with the public after some bad press following a few explosions and screw-ups. What better way to do that than throw a Time Police Christmas party with some of the local orphans? When Grint meets Simon, he bonds with th...

While *Santa Grint (The Time Police, #4.5)* might not be Jodi Taylor's most overtly Christmassy story, the children's Christmas party where Lieutenant Grint meets Simon kicks off a series of wonderfully wild events in this charming novella. As always, Jodi Taylor delivers both comedy and action in this fun, heart-touching, and adventurous story. If you are looking for great book reviews, start with Jodi Taylor! We get a brilliant peek at the *real* Lieutenant Grint. He might seem like a giant, in...

*whispers* I didn't really like this one.It lacked the whimsy of the traditional St. Mary's Christmas story, and in fact, didn't really feel that Christmassy at all. I usually like the TP characters, but here they just felt a bit insubstantial – as though they're running around aimlessly in a plot that's a bit loose on detail. It lacked conviction, and as a result, it lost my interest.Look, it gets a 3-star rating just for being set in the St. Mary's/TP world, but I really missed Max and the mor...

Short and sweet – just like a perfectly brewed cup of tea. *Santa Grint* is a delightful little morsel to tide you over until the next full-length adventure with the Time Police. Jodi Taylor has done it again, crafting a story that's both heartwarming and laugh-out-loud funny. If you're looking for a quick, entertaining read and love the Chronicles of St. Mary's world, this is a must-read. A perfect little Christmas treat and a fantastic addition to the Time Police series! Definitely on...

I have a BookTube channel where I review books, give reading suggestions, and more! Check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/dragonarmybooks---Every Christmas, I eagerly anticipate Jodi Taylor's latest short story. This year, my excitement was amplified because we finally got a Time Police Christmas story with *Santa Grint*!I've noticed some reviewers grumbling that it lacked sufficient "Christmassy" vibes. Honestly, it didn't even cross my mind until I read those reviews because I was complet...

St Mary's still does it better.
I'm not saying this Christmas story wasn't good, I'm just saying that I missed Max, Peterson, and Markham.
Anyway, for their first Christmas story/party, the Time Police did well with *Santa Grint* by Jodi Taylor. If you're looking for a quick, festive read, this might just scratch that itch.
