This is a time travel book, and time travel is truly Rosie's gift. In "Rosie's Gift", Rosie journeys back in time to clear her friend Thomas's name. He's been falsely accused of stealing a diamond necklace that belonged to the mistress of the house. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that the son and the governess are the real culprits.
