A well-written superhero story with some nice prose. Marion G. Harmon delivers a nicely paced narrative with some good plot twists in Ronin Games (Wearing the Cape Book 5). Recommended for fans of superhero fiction!

One of the things that makes Marion G. Harmon’s *Wearing the Cape* series so interesting is that he avoids repeating the same adventure over and over. If you’ve read any comics, you know that is a real danger in this genre. In this adventure, Harmon pulls Astra, Ozma, Artemis and Shelly out of the U.S. and puts them into a covert operation in Japan to find Kitsune before Astra is permanently trapped in a dream world. Because the Japanese government isn’t cooperating with their quest, they have t...

Okay, this was just a blast. Superheroes forced by a wild chain of events to pretend they're the stereotypical magical girls? I found myself actually laughing out loud quite a few times while reading *Ronin Games (Wearing the Cape Book 5)* by Marion G. Harmon. It's the kind of superhero book review I love to write!Thankfully, we're back to a single point of view, and I absolutely loved it. Pretty much adored this book. I'm really digging the direction Marion G. Harmon is taking this series, and ...

A solid story, though it mostly stands on its own. Reading the second book in the series would be helpful, but the author explains enough that you can understand what's happening. As with the previous books, the only real character development we see is with Astra, Shelly, and Artemis. Even though Astra leads her own team, we still don't have a clear sense of her relationships/friendships with her teammates—nothing really new since the third book, anyway. Also, I think Marion G. Harmon glossed o...

"Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes the reason is you're stupid and make bad decisions."

The ongoing escapades of Hope Corrigan, the superheroine we know as Astra, continue in Ronin Games (Wearing the Cape Book 5) by Marion G. Harmon. The story kicks off with what seems like a fairly standard bust. Sure, it involves the Young Sentinels teaming up with the Sentinels and a Russian cape to dismantle Russian mob operations in Chicago, but it's all pretty routine – that is, until Astra gets knocked unconscious and finds herself transported to the cherry tree she dreamed about when Kitsune...
