After how amazing the first book was, it should be a literary crime for the sequel, Rebel Witch (The Crimson Moth, #2) by Kristen Ciccarelli, to be this awful. Enemies to lovers? What a complete and utter ripoff. They're only enemies for, like, three chapters. And in a book that barely scrapes past 450 pages, the actual plot doesn't kick in until page 400-something. How convenient, right? Looking for good fantasy book reviews? Maybe skip this one.The first book's cliffhanger made me think Rebel ...

A heartless hunter walked, so Rebel Witch (The Crimson Moth, #2) could RUNNNN. Okay, Kristen Ciccarelli seriously delivered with Rebel Witch. If you're looking for a gripping fantasy book review, look no further. This sequel just takes everything that was amazing about the first book and cranks it up to eleven. The pacing is relentless, the characters are even more complex and compelling, and the world-building continues to be absolutely top-notch. Ciccarelli's writing just pulls you in and doe...

I'm counting down the days until February! The enemies-to-lovers-back-to-enemies trope is going to deliver some serious angst. 🤭🤭 If you're looking for a witchy read to add to your TBR, Kristen Ciccarelli's *Rebel Witch (The Crimson Moth, #2)* needs to be next on your list!

"You get the world you're willing to fight for." Ah. We've now reached the exhilarating conclusion of The Crimson Moth duology, and let me tell you, it does not disappoint. We pick up right after the end of the first book, and it's like I never left. Everything I loved is back—the characters, the enemies-to-lovers romance, the unbelievably high stakes, and the even bloodier conflicts. And just like its predecessor, Rebel Witch by Kristen Ciccarelli was unputdownable from the first page to the ...

Honestly, there’s not much to say about *Rebel Witch* other than this: it was super predictable, but equally fast-paced and entertaining. I didn’t even care that I knew where everything was going; I was having a great time! I *loved* Gideon in this one, plus both his and Rune’s internal struggle between their love and their loyalties. It’s the perfect mix of romance and fantasy, with some really great scenes and a high-stakes plot—which made the forbidden aspect of their romance that much better...

4.25 stars!! Obsessed with the chemistry between Gideon and Rune. I'm going to miss them so damn much 😭The stakes are SO high! If you're a sucker for enemies-to-lovers, I seriously can't recommend this duology enough. You need to read **Rebel Witch** by Kristen Ciccarelli!I also loved that we dove way deeper into the fantasy and magic plot in this book. It was incredible! The only reason I'm not giving it a full 5 stars is because I did predict a few of the twists and reveals. BUT I LOVE THIS DU...

4.45!“If this was weakness, he wanted to be weak. If this was sin, let him be damned to hell.” Kristen Ciccarelli *ate* with this series because oh my god?!?!? This was such a stellar duology! I enjoyed "Rebel Witch" literally as much as I enjoyed the first book. Yes, there were a few predictable scenes, but the overall journey that "Rebel Witch" took me on was just amazing!! Like, I loved it so much and it had me hooked from start to finish!! I devoured this duet so fast that I'm afraid my r...

Let me start by saying that even though I love Heartless Hunter, I was still scared this book might flop because, well... second book syndrome. But Kristen Ciccarelli came to deliver. If you want a fierce, badass witch who will give you everything you want and a relentless witch hunter who *really* moves to take her down, then stop everything and devour this duet. I usually write long, detailed reviews, especially for the ARCs I get. I break down the characters, the plot, and the writing style—b...

3 Stars I enjoyed Rebel Witch, but I don't know... after that cliffhanger in The Crimson Moth, I was expecting FIRE and a real Rebel Witch going into this one. Instead, it felt lukewarm and kind of inadequate. Less than enthused about writing a full review right now. I might come back and edit it later. ➽──────────────❥ Slight detour from my current reads again 🤭 I totally forgot Rebel Witch was coming out today, and, well, obviously I'm dying of suspense since the last one ended! Here I g...

Final thoughts: Oh my god, this was incredible. I literally screamed and cried. At one point, I was ready to sell my soul for Gideon and Rune to get their happily ever after, but thankfully, I didn't have to. Kristen Ciccarelli absolutely nailed the sequel. This book more than made up for what the first book lacked in atmosphere; the devotion between Gideon and Rune was everything. Okay, the pacing might have been a *little* wonky here and there, but I'm not even complaining because 90% of *Rebe...
