First read in May 2015, re-read February 19-27, 2017.
I absolutely loved it this time around, which bumped my rating up from four to five stars! <3 I liked it the last time too, but I enjoyed it even more now. It was so much fun revisiting this world and these characters, mostly from Owen's perspective again. ^__^
I also greatly enjoy Oliver Wyman's narration of these audiobooks. I highly recommend checking out any audiobook with him; he's one of my favorite narrators. If you're looking for...

Note to self: Duct tape samurais and little birdies to sacrifice to rotor spirits chickens. Never leave home without them. They could save your little puny human life one day. Then again maybe not.Yeah well, not sure Edgar the Disco Chicken really fits the bill here, but hey, whatever and stuff.RTC and stuff. In a century or two.Looking for more monster book reviews? Check out the rest of the series!• Book 1: Monster Hunter International ★★★★• Book 2: Monster Hunter Vendetta ★★★★• Book 3: Monste...

I can't even begin to describe how irrationally obsessed I am with this series. Every single book is absolutely fantastic. Every. Single. One! There's a tiny bit of on-the-page romance, but it definitely takes a backseat to the ongoing saga of the dedicated men and women who make up Monster Hunter International. The world is complex, the characters are compelling, and their mission to save the world is—from start to finish—non-stop action, excitement, and danger. Epic. Simply epic!!! If you're lo...

I absolutely love this series! It's all about action, ACTION, and more ACTION! The escalation just keeps escalating, ESCALATING, and ESCALATING!!!
Oliver Wyman, who narrates the audiobook version of the *Monster Hunter Legion* is phenomenal. He truly brings Larry Correia's story to life! If you're looking for thrilling monster hunter book reviews, this series is a must-listen.

Here Be Dragons - 4 Stars Random Ramblings Yes! Dragons! I'm not gonna lie, I've been waiting for one of these urban fantasy series to unleash one of these bad boys! While it only plays a minor role, Larry Correia continues to masterfully introduce us to the monsters and mythical beasts we all know and love, while giving them their own *Monster Hunter International* spin. This installment feels like a transition book for the series. It's different from the others, with less action and the maj...

Three and a half stars, but I'm rounding it down to three. I liked it, but not nearly as much as *Monster Hunter Legion*. It might just be that I'm getting a little burnt out on the series. I enjoyed it, don't get me wrong, but... meh. Part of the issue might be that I still struggle with the whole Owen Z. Pitt being 'the chosen one' trope. Still, it's a fun read, and I did enjoy it. If you're looking for entertaining monster hunter book reviews, this is a solid, if slightly less thrilling, entr...

If I were one to use such phrases, I might open this review with "HOT DANG, this is a good book!" But I don't use those phrases, so I'll just say...now among my favorites!
Get this series. Start with book 1 (Monster Hunter International) and follow the series. As I've said before, this is prime, 100% grade A brain candy. It's an action treat for lovers of Urban Fantasy, Action, Horror, thrillers, and so many crossover genre areas that it will appeal to a great many readers and groups of readers...

GREAT GOOGLEY-MOOGLEY! HOLY SMOKE! E-GAD, MAN! BOWHICA! SNAFU! FUBAR! and ZOWIE!
The fourth book in the Monster Hunter International Series by Larry Correia, *Monster Hunter Legion*, is no joke. It's every bit as much fun as the first 3, maybe better than the last two, but it's too close to call. The crew's back, and, yes, they pissed off another supernatural, monstrous, and wicked evil monster being. I mean, c'mon Pitt! Haven't you met a supernatural being that you *didn't* piss...

What can I say? I'm completely hooked on this series. *Monster Hunter Legion* largely unfolds in Las Vegas during a convention for monster eradication companies. In my opinion, this was a brilliant premise. We'd heard about other monster hunting companies in earlier books, but hadn't really met any truly worthy of the name. Throwing a bunch of competitive, slightly unhinged mercenaries together for a weekend in Vegas? Pure gold. That said, it does require a slightly clunky, outline-like beginning...

I'm a one-book-at-a-time kind of girl. Once I start a book, I finish it; there's no switching back and forth for me. So you can imagine my distress when, in the middle of reading another perfectly good book, I heard from a friend that there was an eARC for sale of the newest Monster Hunter book.
Crap.
I needed to read it. Had to read it... Now now now! But what about the other book? I can't just abandon it... I should probably finish it first, and then move on to *Monster Hunter Legion* once ...
