Series Info/Source: This is book 3.5 in the A Stitch in Time series. I bought a copy of this as an ebook. Thoughts: This was by far the longest installment in the series, but I enjoyed how everything played out. The second book ended on a huge cliffhanger, and this book jumps right back into the story. Jacynda has been abandoned in Bedlam, with no memory of who she is; she's been left with the mental capacity of a small child. Meanwhile, Keats is still trying to escape the hangman's noose, and...

Excellent Read!I rarely review books, good, bad, or just okay. Especially not YA Sci-Fantasy novels. And I honestly didn't expect to review this series at all. I actually grabbed Book 1 as a freebie on Goodreads, and then I just couldn't resist buying Books 2 and 3. I do have a soft spot for well-written historical fiction and time travel stories. I love books with believable heroines and characters that feel real, where the author weaves the story into history without completely mangling it. An...

Sci-fi AND historical fiction—I'm hooked!

This is the first sci-fi/historical fiction series that's really grabbed me. It's got action, intrigue, and just a hint of romance! Such a great mix of genres, never a dull moment. I even love the spider! Jana Oliver's writing is fantastic. If you're looking for a new sci-fi book series, give Madman's Dance (Time Rovers, #3) a try! Jana💛💚

Wonderful time travel book, third in the series

Jacynda time travels back to 1888 England, leading to a ton of adventures. She gets caught up in trying to prevent the bombing of London, helps solve a few murders, and even works to restore a police officer’s reputation. If you're looking for a great time travel book, "Madman's Dance (Time Rovers, #3)" by Jana Oliver is a must-read!

Terrific Book!I'm not the best at writing reviews, but here goes! This is the third book in a terrific time travel series, and surprisingly, it *doesn't* leave you utterly confused. Instead, it keeps you intrigued from the first page of book one all the way to the end. I'd happily compare Jana Oliver to David Eddings; the storytelling in *Madman's Dance (Time Rovers, #3)* is just as well-crafted as Eddings' work. If you're looking for a captivating time travel book review, check out *Madman's Da...

I was really let down by *Madman's Dance (Time Rovers, #3)*. I just don't get why Jacynda suddenly had amnesia – it felt totally out of place in the story. And what was with that love triangle with Alastair and Keats? One minute it's there, the next it's gone, and suddenly Theo Morrisey shows up. I always saw him as more of a father figure to her, and then BAM, they're in love. I completely lost interest after that and had to practically drag myself to the end. Jana Oliver's *Demon Trappers* ser...

Just finished the entire trilogy today. I don't own the hardcover or paperback, and probably won't buy them, but I know I'll be rereading this trilogy whenever I'm feeling a little down and need an escape. I really got into the plot, the characters, and all the little historical tidbits sprinkled throughout. I always love a book that makes me question whether something's true or not. That sense of wonder always sends me off to Google, and then I'm silently cursing Jana Oliver for sending me down...

This one was my least favorite of the series. I'd really grown attached to Keats and Alistair, but they were basically background characters in this book, with Theo taking center stage. It felt a little forced, and I just couldn't really get invested in that. Plus, the whole storyline with Cynda losing her mind felt a bit off-key and didn't quite fit with the rest of the story. By the end, I was mostly just ready for it to be over. The *Time Rovers* books have been fun, but I honestly think the...

I was under the impression that there would be more books in this series? Disappointed there aren't!

This, the final (?) book in Jana Oliver's Time Rovers series, brings the events of the previous two books to an explosive conclusion – shapeshifters, time travelers, meddlers from a future beyond, anarchists, and all combinations thereof. As with the previous two books, the majority of the action takes place in Victorian London, with some events in "now-time" from the prospective of the time travelers... well, the point of view characters who time travel... there's a dizzying amount of crossover...
