If someone had told me I'd enjoy a sci-fi story with time travel, dinosaurs, advanced tech, heroes, and everything else all rolled into one, I would've thought they were crazy. But guess what? I didn't just like Lost in Time by A.G. Riddle... I LOVED it! This is a must-read for any science fiction book reviews list.

I honestly don't even know where to begin. But hear me out, I'm convinced this book, Lost in Time by A.G. Riddle, was written by an AI. Either that or a middle schooler desperately trying to meet a word count.Everything in Lost in Time feels superficial. It's like someone Googled "top 10 survival tips" and "top 10 money making tips" and so on without realizing that none of these actions are remotely plausible (and I'm not even talking about the time travel aspect!). I was hoping for a thrilling ...

I stumbled upon ‘Lost in Time’ when it was shortlisted for the Goodreads Science Fiction award in 2022. This is a highly entertaining story that masterfully blends elements of time travel and crime. The core premise underlying the use of time travel is genuinely unique. Sam Anderson is a scientist and a key member of the team that invented the revolutionary Absolom machine. Grieving the loss of his wife to illness, he is deeply devoted to his children: teenager Adeline and young Ryan. Absolom b...

A fast-paced, twisty sci-fi thriller that I devoured in two sittings. If you're looking for a book that will suck you in and keep you hooked until the last page, then *Lost in Time* by A.G. Riddle is a strong contender. I loved the fast-paced murder mystery plot line that was made even twistier when time travel is added into the mix! As far as sci-fi thriller books go, this one really delivers. I do, however, think that the synopsis is a bit misleading. Don't go into this book expecting it to be...

In A.G. Riddle's *Lost in Time*, scientist Sam Anderson and his teenage daughter, Adeline, find themselves in a nightmare: they're arrested for the murder of Sam's colleague and lover, Nora. Sam takes the fall, confessing to the crime to protect Adeline. His punishment? Being hurled millions of years into the past, courtesy of Absolom, the time travel device he helped invent. Adeline, refusing to believe her father is guilty, vows to prove his innocence and bring him back home. Each character fee...

I'm a big fan of A.G. Riddle. His books are smart, imaginative, and really get you thinking about life, the world, and all the stuff we haven't figured out yet. *Lost in Time* is about a young girl who's been through some serious trauma, unfairly separated from her dad. The story follows her journey and the tough choices she makes to find justice. The characters are fantastic: warm, well-developed, and totally likeable. It's a feel-good story, and I'm always up for those! If you're looking for a...

I have to admit, I'm a big fan of A.G. Riddle's work! I enjoy some sci-fi, but I'm very picky about what I read. Riddle's books just hit that sweet spot for me.As you might have guessed, *Lost in Time* is a time travel story, but with an interesting twist. Set in the near future, a company called Absolom has a stranglehold on dealing with violent criminals—murderers, serial rapists, and terrorists—by sending them into the past. But not to some cushy Middle Ages or Stone Age, oh no, they're sent ...

So, this stems from an ongoing debate with a friend about the quality of self-published books. My friend (also a self-published author) argues they're just as good as traditionally published works, listing authors who started self-publishing and hit it big, like E.L. James. Right.A.G. Riddle was on that list, so when *Lost in Time* showed up on Netgalley, I thought I’d give him a shot. Turns out, I stand by my opinion. Riddle, like James, and other similar authors, might understand the current m...

This is so poorly written that I'm breaking my usual rule and writing a review before I've even finished the book. The writing is just so… trite. It's one cliché after another. For example: “He felt as though the sea was testing him, and there was no pass or fail. Only live or die. The crescent moon glowing…” Seriously, this is just unreadable. Thanks to NetGalley and Head of Zeus, LTD. for providing an ARC (Advance Review Copy) in exchange for an honest review. **Lost in Time** by A.G. Rid...
