I was seriously PRAYING she'd end up with Marco, you guys! I was literally screaming when she went on a date with Conner, and basically any time she went out with someone who wasn't Marco, I was throwing my book and yelling! It was like, if it wasn't Marco, I wasn't having it! 🤭I also loved how Mads and Natalia became friends and how THEY made Devis the third wheel! Eee!! And Katie? I love her! She’s such a sweetheart once she actually opened up. Honestly, at first, I thought she was a total sn...

Absolutely adored this book; what a fun read! Madeline was such a sweet character, and I loved reading about her dating mishaps and her experiences as a bridesmaid (which were often the cause of those mishaps!). The supporting characters also made *Firsts & Forever* stand out; they were each such a great addition to the story. And the romance! I loved Madeline and Marco's dynamic; their scenes together were never long enough. Overall, a very cute YA romance, perfect for summer, and I really enjo...

3.5 stars (rounded up to 4) ☆ Cute!
First date, first kiss, first boyfriend, first time—
This YA friends-to-lovers romance really nailed the title with *Firsts & Forever*!
I loved the wedding setting and the little appearances from characters we already know.
However, I found myself more focused on just getting to the end of the book to see what happened than actually getting invested in the main character's journey.
Butttt all the Taylor Swift references definitely earned some bonus points ;)

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review. Okay, seriously, *Firsts & Forever* was just the cutest thing ever! Yes, it's got the romance, but honestly, the friendships and family stuff? That's where K.L. Walther really shines in *Firsts & Forever*. The main character actually acts like a teenager, which is a huge win. No annoying tropes here! All the relationships – romantic, friend-based, family – felt so real and natural. I felt like I actuall...

I don’t know why, but I really don’t want her to end up with Marco… it *has* to be Connor. I can't put my finger on it, it's just a strong feeling I have after reading *Firsts & Forever* by K.L. Walther. Big vibes! If you're looking for emotional YA book reviews, I hope you agree!

Such a beautiful book about 17-year-old Mads, her brother's wedding, family, and first love!
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ This was such a great read, especially for Valentine’s Day, because it had everything a YA romance needs: tension, friendships, drama, and a well-developed plot. I enjoyed almost everything about it, and at some point, I was convinced this book was a 5-star read; however, there were some… weird moments.
Firstly, I was truly impressed with the plot and each character’s storyline! Each c...

ReviewI love K.L. Walther. But I love her even more after reading this masterpiece. She absolutely delivered this time around. THERE WERE SO MANY EASTER EGGS, with mentions of characters from EVERY. SINGLE. KLW. BOOK. No kidding. I was eating this up. Anyways, I have an English assignment I've been procrastinating on, so I'm gonna lock in and I'll be right back! Ok, so I locked in and did all of it this morning, so now I'm free to yap about this amazing book!I do think that I enjoyed While We're...

2.5 stars! This one just didn't do it for me. ☹️ The plot felt scattered; it jumped around so much that we never really settled on one thing, which got annoying. Plus, it's a love triangle, so that didn't help matters. I felt pretty indifferent towards the main character – I just couldn't connect with anyone. ☹️ I ended up skimming the last 150 pages or so. I did really enjoy seeing Wit and Meredith in "Firsts & Forever" though! 🫶🏼 I still love K.L. Walther, but sometimes not every book is go...

12/06/25: 4.5 ⭐️Okay, it's official: K.L. Walther is definitely one of my new favorite authors! I absolutely DEVOUR everything she writes, and *Firsts & Forever* was no exception. The *Bachelor*-esque vibe was so much fun, and I loved reading about Mads' everyday life with her family, field hockey, and college decisions. And don’t even get me started on the main male character… (wink wink)This book was just so much fun, and I loved the *Speak Now* vibe ("Timeless" will be played on a loop, obvio...
