3.25 stars. I absolutely adore B.K. Borison's writing style. The chemistry between the characters was spot-on, both in their actions and their banter. And the whole setup – a romance advice radio show at a radio station – was incredibly cute and entertaining. My main hang-up was the conflict in the final act. I really felt for Aiden and everything he needed to process personally, but I hated that it caused Lucie pain. Overall, I'd say *First-Time Caller* felt like a classic romance novel – nothi...

I've never seen *Sleepless in Seattle*, but you don't need to have watched it to recognize that *First-Time Caller* oozes all the charm and delightfulness of classic '90s rom-coms. It's got that perfect feel-good vibe. For me, I just really enjoyed seeing Lucie and Aiden crushing on each other. There's something so wholesome about crushes – they make romance stories feel so sweet, and the moment when those feelings blossom into something more is beyond satisfying. So, I was really pleased with th...

I was completely hooked by the premise and setup of "First-Time Caller"! It was fun, flirty, entertaining, and just what a hopeless romantic (like me and Lucie) needs. However, around the 45-50% mark, I unfortunately got the 'ick' from Aiden (LOL) and there was no turning back. He was so emotionally unavailable and lacked so much self-assurance. I honestly think Lucie deserved so much more/better. Their chemistry and compatibility just weren't there for me. BUT, I will say, I loved the supporting...

જ⁀➴ 3 ✰⋆𐙚₊˚⊹”Do you think I’ll get my magic?”“Nah, Lucie. I think you’re the magic”⋆𐙚₊˚⊹\"First-Time Caller\" follows Aiden, a radio host for a romance hotline who no longer believes in love. Then there's Lucie, a single mother and auto mechanic whose daughter calls into the show, hoping to find her mom a chance at happiness. This book was pure romance perfection. Honestly, I don’t think I can properly express how much I adored it – Aiden is the living embodiment of "if he wanted to, he would" and pure, unadulterated boy obsession. B.K. Borison has absolutely smashed it out of the park *again* with First-Time Caller. Seriously, if you're looking for a swoon-worthy contemporary romance, look no further. This is a top-tier book review for a reason! 💯💯

I completely fell head over heels for **First-Time Caller** by B.K. Borison! I even cursed myself for devouring it so quickly! Several things made me swoon and sigh, starting with the delightful banter between Aiden and Lucie during their radio show, where they shared a tiny booth without a single complaint. I absolutely adored the moment when Lucie found the list of her favorite things in Aiden’s car glove compartment, and her being stood up by her date turns into the most entertaining and memo...

Okay, so maybe I'm in the minority here. It started out super sweet, but it also felt kinda cheesy. I just didn't really connect with the characters, and honestly, it was way too long for a contemporary romance, in my opinion. I'm gonna keep this review short and sweet (pun intended!). It just didn't give me enough of that *Sleepless in Seattle* magic. It felt like it was hitting every trope super hard, which made it predictable and, honestly, a little boring for me. The fact that the main guy...

HE KEEPS A LIST OF HER FAVORITE THINGS IN HIS GLOVE COMPARTMENT SO HE DOESN'T FORGET

You can pry that one scene at the restaurant out of my cold, dead hands!!!! (It’s a romance genre staple, and I’m not letting it go!!)

Aiden and Grayson on the Lucie defense squad 🤝
