I was raised in the northeastern United States, in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country, and resided in a half-dozen homes or towns throughout my growing up years. My father was a reverend with a flourishing career, moving the family to various parishes as his calling dictated, which I view in a positive light as I...

A truly great read! "Fear of What's Next: A Samantha Clark Mystery" grabbed me from the very first page and didn't let go until the end. I don't usually read mysteries, but Kathryne Arnold's book has definitely changed my mind. The best part was how unpredictable the story was. So many books in this genre follow a typical, predictable scenario where you can easily guess how everything will play out. "Fear of What's Next: A Samantha Clark Mystery" was a breath of fresh air, and I really hope ther...

I would definitely recommend "Fear of What's Next: A Samantha Clark Mystery" by Kathryne Arnold to anyone who enjoys a good read. If you love suspenseful mysteries, this one's for you!

A Real Nail Biter!!This is a bit more gruesome than I usually go for, but it felt more like watching a movie than reading a book. The details were so vivid, I could practically see everything playing out. I could totally see "Fear of What's Next: A Samantha Clark Mystery" by Kathryne Arnold becoming a movie. Move over Norman Bates and Ted Bundy, there's a new psycho in town, and he isn't sharing! If you're looking for a thrilling mystery book review, check out "Fear of What's Next: A Samantha Cl...

While *The Resurrection of Hannah* delved deep into past lives, meditation, dream analysis, and all things metaphysical… *Fear of What's Next: A Samantha Clark Mystery* completely shifted gears. This felt more like a classic psychological thriller. You could definitely read this book as a standalone… but I was so glad I already knew the backstories of Sammi, Todd, Rebecca, and Melissa. Understanding their history made all the difference in appreciating where they were (and who) they were.Even th...

I received this book free in exchange for my honest opinion; all views and opinions are my own. "Fear of What's Next: A Samantha Clark Mystery" is the second book by Kathryne Arnold in the (Samantha Clark Mystery Series). Right off the bat, I want to mention that this book can be read as a standalone novel. However, I think if you've already read "The Resurrection of Hannah," you'll already know Samantha Clark, her friends, and her family, as well as who she is and what she does. This book is...

Fear of What's Next: A Samantha Clark Mystery by Kathryne Arnold, published in 2012, is the second installment in the Samantha Clark Mystery series. The story kicks off with a bang as Sammi receives strange notes and her boyfriend, Todd, goes missing. Are these two events connected? It certainly seems like more than just a coincidence. After Todd's disappearance warrants a police report, a detective takes on the case, and the hunt begins. This book reads more like a crime thriller than a tradi...

The mystery and crime aspects of "Fear of What's Next: A Samantha Clark Mystery" were genuinely well-crafted. However, the interactions and dialogue between the main character, Sammi, and her girlfriends felt pretty contrived and not particularly believable. If you're looking for a solid crime novel by Kathryne Arnold, this delivers on that front, but the character relationships could use some work.

This book hit the spot for me. Back when I was a teenager, I was hooked on reading memoirs of serial killers – yeah, a bit weird, I know. I've moved on since then, though, to more fictional suspense novels, and *Fear of What's Next: A Samantha Clark Mystery* is a fantastic book that I just couldn't put down. It's always a little terrifying to think that someone with such murderous intentions can be so incredibly intelligent, especially when they're up against so many other people. With every twi...

Kathryne Arnold's *Fear of What's Next: A Samantha Clark Mystery* is an excellent psychological thriller, written in a straightforward style with a plot that's both well-developed and easy to follow. From the moment I picked up *Fear of What's Next: A Samantha Clark Mystery*, I was hooked. I couldn't put it down! My only disappointment was how quickly I finished it; it was over far too soon. A truly excellent and enjoyable read. When Samantha's lover goes missing, her world is shattered as she...

Samantha Clark's got her life nailed. She's head-over-heels, living her dream, and pours her heart into everything she does. Then, BAM! Her world flips. The man she loves vanishes, and a creepy letter sends shivers down her spine. Suddenly, everything's a tangled mess. Honestly, *Fear of What's Next: A Samantha Clark Mystery* by Kathryne Arnold? It's off the charts. Forget a 1 to 10 scale; this is an 11. Trust me, you won't be able to put this suspenseful mystery down. If you're looking for grip...
