Okay, let's talk about Lewis Aleman's *Faces in Time: A Time-Traveling Thriller*. The biggest issue? The writing is just... way too much. Over-the-top, bombastic, ridiculously purple – it's distracting to the point of being unintentionally funny. Seriously, check out lines like this: "When he has eaten, it hasn’t been much, not even for him, so hunger should be a relentless inner predator, but it hasn’t been on his trail as if it couldn’t follow him to the past.” Or how about: “Scrambling around...

I usually love books about time travel, but I definitely did *not* enjoy "Faces in Time: A Time-Traveling Thriller." The plot was just weird. What made it even worse was Lewis Aleman's writing style and how he presented events to the reader. Seriously, save your money. I literally had to force myself to finish this book. If you're looking for a good time travel book review, this isn't it.

Lewis Aleman delivers an excitingly fresh take on the mechanics of time travel in *Faces in Time: A Time-Traveling Thriller*. Instead of relying on the usual "Back to the Future" or "Terminator" tropes, he introduces a system where timelines diverge from a single point, and when a new divergence is created, the old future (as far as the reader knows) simply ceases to exist. This innovative approach is a welcome change from the industry standards most writers stick to. For fans of time travel boo...

This is probably the most terribly written book I’ve ever come across. I actually stopped reading "Faces in Time: A Time-Traveling Thriller" by Lewis Aleman three separate times because I was so frustrated with the author's style and overall competence. The only thing that saved it was that the story itself was fairly interesting. Funnily enough, the book seems to have been written in a totally schizophrenic way. You could read several paragraphs, even a whole chapter, of perfectly reasonable pr...

I have to admit, time travel stories usually tie my brain in knots. I get hung up on the paradoxes and can't focus on the story. But *Faces in Time: A Time-Traveling Thriller* doesn't do that at all! Lewis Aleman's concept of time travel is logical, clearly explained, and totally unique. No paradoxes here: if you go back in time, there are now two of you, and your future self might just bump into your past self. That's exactly what happens to Chester Fuze, and his past self is *not* happy to see...

Lewis Aleman's Faces in Time: A Time-Traveling Thriller is a genuinely original time travel novel. The concept of time travel itself is unique and, surprisingly, makes a lot of sense within the story's framework. Chester Fuze is an interesting and fully developed character. He starts as a timid former television writer, but he becomes remarkably brave as the story progresses. It's genuinely fun to follow him on his journey through time, chasing after Rhonda, the love of his life, and trying to s...

This is a time travel novel geared towards men – Chaz journeys back in time to rescue the movie star he's been infatuated with his entire life from the poor choices destined to wreck her future. And wouldn't you know it – his time machine actually works, and she falls head over heels for him. (Yeah, right!)What elevates this to a time travel "thriller" is the fact that the present-day Chaz is attempting to eliminate the future Chaz (to shield the world from the perils of time travel paradoxes). ...

Time travel stories can really mess with your head in a good way, making you think about all sorts of possibilities. *Faces in Time: A Time-Traveling Thriller* takes a pretty unique, offbeat approach to the whole time-travel thing. I gotta admit, it took me a little while to really get hooked, but once I was in, I was totally invested. If you're into time travel books, and want something a little different from the norm, Lewis Aleman's *Faces in Time: A Time-Traveling Thriller* is worth checking...

I could barely put "Faces in Time: A Time-Traveling Thriller" down for even a second. It was completely unpredictable! Lewis Aleman is a master at weaving seemingly disparate threads into a single, compelling storyline. You get to know all the characters and settings so intimately that you genuinely feel like you're right there with them. It's a thrilling book, packed with action and some genuinely interesting science. I couldn't put it down, and when I reached the last page, I desperately wishe...

"Faces in Time: A Time-Traveling Thriller" was an adventurous, fast-paced, time-traveling novel. At first, I was a little confused about where the plot was going, but after a couple of chapters, I was hooked. I enjoyed going through this journey with Chester. He was truly one of my favorite characters. I mean, what guy would find a way to go back twenty years just to save a celebrity? Well, evidently Chester would. He was in love with Rhonda and didn't want to see her make a mistake. I also love...
