I breathe stories. I dream them. If it were possible, I'd eat them, too. (I'm pretty sure they'd taste like cotton candy.) I can't escape them - they're everywhere! Which is why I write! I was born to bring the crazy worlds and people in my mind to life, and I love sharing them with as many people as I can.I'm also the...

★★★★ 4 stars “Hear me, see me, touch me, taste me.” I just had to keep reading. This isn't the best book I've ever read, not by a long shot. Parts of it are patchy, confusing, or just plain ridiculous, to be honest, but it kept me thoroughly entertained from start to finish.I figured Josie would still be struggling with the pain of losing Taylor, and while she was, it wasn't the way I expected. It wasn't heartbreak so much as guilt. She wasn't really *in love* with him. She adored T...

Lizzy Ford, author extraordinaire, is an evil mastermind. She knows exactly how to weave a suspenseful tale, doling out just enough information to hook the reader before snatching it away, enough to break your heart and leave you desperate to know how Josie's story ends. If you're looking for a captivating historical fantasy, look no further.Written in the first person, from Josie's perspective, we feel everything that this lovable and sensitive (but not *too* sensitive) character feels as she's...

Ugh. That's all I can say. I mean, I figured when I saw there were two more books planned for this series (North and South) that things couldn't just end on a HEA note. But, COME. ON. I feel like a lot of people might dislike this book because, unlike with West, here it's mostly Josie and Batu for a major chunk of it, and it's travelling, but at the same time, I loved it. I was also growing accustomed to what Josie had to accept and it actually didn't sound too bad to me because, well, Batu. ...

I received an advance copy of "East: A Time Traveler's Mongol Adventure" for an honest review.I have to say that author Lizzy Ford possesses the most incredible imagination I've ever come across.Josie is now thrown years back into the age of the Mongolians, and I'm genuinely concerned about how this poor girl's story will conclude and whether she'll ever find her happily ever after. I’m definitely glad that Batu has entered the picture, especially since he can also travel through time. I'm still...

WHAT. JUST. HAPPENED?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? If you devoured *West* then you absolutely need to read *East: A Time Traveler's Mongol Adventure*, but trust me, you won't see any of this coming. This book was incredible, but Lizzy Ford definitely knows how to keep us hooked and begging for more. *East: A Time Traveler's Mongol Adventure* picks up right where *West* left off, and buckle up, because it's a wild ride. Not only is Josie flung back in time to the Mongol era, but she also gets put into cryostasi...

WHAT. JUST. HAPPENED?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? If you devoured *West* then *East: A Time Traveler's Mongol Adventure* is a must-read, but trust me, you won't see any of it coming. This book was absolutely mind-blowing, and Lizzy Ford definitely knows how to keep us hooked! Picking up right where *West* left off, *East: A Time Traveler's Mongol Adventure* throws you straight onto a rollercoaster. Not only does Josie get flung back to the Mongol era, but she's also put into cryostasis. When she wakes up, she...

If I've said it once, I'll say it again: Lizzy Ford is going to drive me crazy with this series! I barely held it together with what happened to Taylor, so I'm glad *East: A Time Traveler's Mongol Adventure* didn't end in a similar way. But now I have to wait a year for the next book! Ugh! I can't say I loved this one more than the first, because to be honest, I'm not sure what Josie was supposed to accomplish. Or maybe that *is* the point... Carter got thwarted, so she didn't set out to do what...

Wow, just wow. If you thought *West* was gripping, wait until you get your hands on *East: A Time Traveler's Mongol Adventure*! Josie's been sent to the Mongol era, and needless to say, things are going rather unexpectedly. First, Carter puts her in cryostasis, and when she wakes up, she has no idea where she is. She doesn't know who to trust, and with her empathic memory chip broken, she knows nothing about the era. As she struggles to fit in, Josie struggles to understand the importance of her...

After reading *West*, I was anxiously awaiting *East: A Time Traveler's Mongol Adventure* – I was left wondering what would become of Josie. If you thought *West* was good, it has *nothing* on *East: A Time Traveler's Mongol Adventure*. This time, Josie finds herself in the Khan Era. In a world filled with strange customs and ways, she must find a way to fit in. When some serious stuff goes down, she finds herself trapped with nowhere to go and no one to turn to. Josie is unsure of her mission a...
