This second edition of Dreams Unleashed (The Prophecies, Book 1) really moves along well, and is beautifully written. The main character, Ann, is really appealing to me. She's independent, a free spirit who's not set in her ways, is mature but still growing. I think there's nothing more beautiful than a woman with her dog, so Ann's dog, Lulu, really adds to the story. I found the remote viewing very interesting, as it explores the potential of the human mind. And of course, the Herkimer crystals...

After the Patriot Act passed what feels like forever ago, I think many Americans breathed a sigh of relief, thinking everything would be alright. Linda Hawley, however, offers a different take on government intrusion into our lives. What if the government was tracking us via microchips in our driver's licenses? What if they were listening to everything we said, all the time? Hawley takes that idea a step further with the first book in her series, Dreams Unleashed (The Prophecies, Book 1). In thi...

I've genuinely never read anything quite like this! The whole concept of remote viewing is just mind-blowing. I vaguely recall seeing a TV show once that touched on it and how the government had studied similar phenomena, but they didn't really go into detail or anything. So, it's incredibly interesting to get an inside peek at it, even if it's through a fictional lens. I especially loved the sections involving the CIA; they completely grabbed my attention, and that cliffhanger ending guaranteed...

This book is definitely intriguing... that's probably the best word for it. Intriguing and thought-provoking. The core of the book explores remote viewing and the connection between the main character's subconscious and reality. Yeah, that's some deep stuff. It really makes you think, and I love books that do that. If you like a book that makes you think, Dreams Unleashed (The Prophecies, Book 1) by Linda Hawley is a great read. I'm also a big fan of dystopian novels, and Dreams Unleashed defini...

I spotted Linda Hawley’s book, Dreams Unleashed (The Prophecies, Book 1), on Twitter and the title grabbed me, so I downloaded the Kindle version. It was actually my first time reading a full-length book on my iPhone. I found the story really well-written and totally gripping. I'd happily recommend it to anyone, and I'll definitely be picking up the next book in the trilogy. That being said, a couple of things bothered me in the book, and in my connection to it, so I’ll try to explain them below...

Someone on Amazon said that Dreams Unleashed (The Prophecies, Book 1) by Linda Hawley was intriguing… and that’s probably the perfect word for it. Intriguing and thought-provoking. The core of the book explores remote viewing and the connection between the main character's subconscious and reality. Yeah, that's some deep stuff. It really makes you think, and I absolutely love books that do that. If you're looking for a book review that dives into some interesting concepts, this is it. I'm also a...

This is a seriously cool novel. It’s well-written, complex, interesting, funny, and scary—Dreams Unleashed (The Prophecies, Book 1) has it all! Linda Hawley has penned a fantastic debut, depicting a not-so-distant future with a chilling "Big Brother is watching you" vibe. The government's intrusion into our personal lives is genuinely unsettling, and even though the book is fiction, the references to real and current political issues and figures make it all the more frightening. I was genuinely ...

I received "Dreams Unleashed (The Prophecies, Book 1)" from Linda Hawley herself and read it on Kindle for PC. I'd never used Kindle for PC before, and I was a little worried about losing my place when my mouse went rogue, but it turned out fine. For the first third of "Dreams Unleashed (The Prophecies, Book 1)", I really had to concentrate to keep track of whether I was in the present, the past, or a dream. Eventually, I got all the threads sorted, and then the book really took off! The action ...
