Deception Point. That's a disappointment indeed. Dan Brown's editor was clearly trying to capitalize on the success of *The Da Vinci Code* at the time, pushing this novel even though it's pretty awful. *Deception Point* was actually published in the United States before *The Da Vinci Code* ever came out. *Deception Point* is your standard thriller, hinging on the discovery of a meteorite in Arctic ice, supposedly containing evidence of alien life. Is it a spectacular leap for human knowledge, o...

Deception Point is one of the earlier Dan Brown novels, but I'd never read it before. I'm impatient waiting for the next one to be released, so I figured I'd go back to the two I missed... and while this definitely went a bit over my head when it comes to science and space knowledge, it delivered immensely in terms of suspense, thrills, and shock. I was so angry and anxious throughout most of it, all in a positive way, because of the conflicts and constant stop/start to switch storylines. If you...

In politics, it's customary that if you want to eliminate a rival, you must have at least two weaknesses of theirs to exploit. People might overlook one flaw, but they'll never ignore two.The first book I read in 2020 😻Even though Dan Brown wrote about nationalistic American characters in "Deception Point," it was captivating. And even more fascinating was that all the main events unfolded in a single day. This kind of compressed timeline always makes me wonder what can happen to a person in jus...

In *Deception Point*, Dan Brown elevates the intrigue by shining a light on a completely unexpected direction. Our world already operates under the long shadow cast by political maneuvering, and those in the know understand they can only truly comprehend events by reading between the lines. Brown masterfully taps into this reality, making *Deception Point* a compelling read for anyone interested in political thrillers.

A Different Kind of Thriller from the Master, Dan Brown A novel with two conflicting sides… but one central focus: NASA. Did you know that NASA is an agency of the U.S. government? A long, irrelevant introductionRecently, in July 2015, the whole world was talking about NASA's amazing discovery in the media and on social media… Earth 2.0! A potentially habitable planet with incredible possibilities, even better than Earth! This discovery caused NASA's Facebook page to explode in popularity worldw...

Dan Brown never ceases to amaze me with his vast knowledge and comprehensive understanding across numerous fields. Every time Brown chooses a topic for one of his novels, you can tell he's prepared thoroughly, studied extensively, and researched deeply. He manages to present this valuable information in a way that doesn't bore the reader or detract from the suspense of his story. On the contrary, it enriches the narrative and distinguishes it from any other thriller. This time, Brown takes me ...

I really enjoyed "Deception Point." I was a little worried I wouldn't be able to follow along, but Dan Brown has a way of writing that just makes everything accessible. The ending completely took me by surprise, it was a real page-turner. If you're looking for a gripping political thriller, definitely check out Dan Brown's "Deception Point!"

I read *Deception Point* at the tail-end of my brief Dan Brown phase (let he who has never enjoyed an airport-bookstore novel cast the first stone), and by this point I was getting a little tired of Brown's storytelling formula. And by "formula", I really mean "formula". Here it is: How To Make A Guaranteed Bestseller in Fifteen Minutes or Less -1 intelligent, bookishly handsome man who in no way is supposed to be Dan Brown of course not why do you ask -1 *really* intelligent, preferably foreig...

I really enjoyed this novel!NASA AND MY PERSONAL ADMIRATION FOR THAT INSTITUTIONIn my mind, the men and women of NASA are history's modern pioneers. They attempt the impossible, accept failure, and then head back to the drawing board while the rest of us stand back and criticize.Back in 2009, I stumbled upon Dan Brown's *Deception Point* by chance, or perhaps it was fate.By then, I already knew who Dan Brown was (it's not like I was living in a cave, hehehe), but I still hadn't read his popular ...

The formula is pretty simple:Big Mystery + Male Protagonist + Female Protagonist + Code to Solve + OMG TRAITOR WITH TWISTED MOTIVES = Bestselling Novel. And it's worked, so I guess we can't hate on Dan Brown too much. There are people who swear his books are the best thing they've ever read -- I certainly wouldn't say that. But they are successful and I have to confess, even I like them, and when it comes to books I am Picky with a most definite capital P.Digital Fortress is the first one I've re...
