I usually steer clear of YA, but I decided to download Chasing Echoes because of the blurb and the fact that it was a free Kindle book. What a delightful surprise! It reminded me of Groundhog Day (the book even references the movie), but honestly, it's closer to Before I Fall. The theme of redemption and the time loop concept are woven into a much more uplifting and entertaining story here. If you're looking for captivating young adult book reviews, give Jodi Perkins' Chasing Echoes a try!

Note: I received a free copy of Chasing Echoes in exchange for an honest review, and that’s exactly what this is – an honest review. And like all my other reviews, I’ll keep it completely spoiler-free. Introduction We do not possess imagination enough to sense what we are missing.- Jean ToomerEvery chapter in Chasing Echoes begins with a quote, and the one above is from the third chapter. Before I get into the rest of this book review, I have to say that the quotes at the beginning of each...

In *Chasing Echoes*, Jodi Perkins whisks readers away on an incredible adventure brimming with conflict, unique abilities, self-discovery, and nail-biting tension. Jodi deserves major kudos for crafting a truly memorable romance novel. She focuses on the genuine, heartfelt emotions of her characters, rather than relying on the tired trope of gratuitous sex scenes that so many contemporary authors use to mask a lack of genuine writing skill. This is precisely why Jodi's talent shines so brightly ...

Jodi Perkins' *Chasing Echoes* hooked me from the very first line: "It all started because of a RAT." I had absolutely no idea what to expect after reading that, but I knew I was strapped in for a wild ride on the fantasy train. And boy, was I right. What I loved about *Chasing Echoes* was its ingenious storyline, exploring a fresh corner of the fantastical world that hasn't been done to death. And not only that, the humor and the hilarious catfights between the main characters, Taz and Stryder,...

Jodi Perkins' *Chasing Echoes* is a beautifully crafted tale of a young girl who discovers that what she thought she knew about herself was only the tip of the iceberg, and what she discovered about those closest to her was just as surprising. Taz is a high school student who has all the problems a typical high school girl does: fitting in, making better choices, withstanding bullies, and hoping to connect with a certain crush... or a frenemy. As we journey with Taz, we soon learn she has a spec...

Jodi Perkins' *Chasing Echoes* was a thrilling paranormal romance that completely captivated me. Written with a charming and inviting style, it's packed with fun, action, plenty of drama, gorgeous descriptions, and a storyline that kept me guessing until the very end. The characters evolve beautifully as the story unfolds, with a steadily building tension that kept me turning pages late into the night. This book is perfect for anyone who enjoys fantasy or supernatural suspense. I'm already eager...

I had the privilege of reading "Chasing Echoes" as a beta reader, and let me tell you, I was hooked! I absolutely couldn't put it down. I devoured the entire book in just three days, and honestly, it would've been even faster if I didn't have the kids constantly demanding my attention. The plot Jodi Perkins crafted is so incredibly fresh and original – a real breath of fresh air. The characters leap off the page from the very first chapter; you'll instantly find yourself invested in their journe...

I absolutely loved *Chasing Echoes*. It was such a fantastic read that I really struggled to put it down, choosing "just one more chapter" over sleep multiple times! (Which is saying something, as a mom to a three-month-old!)The characters are wonderful, and like many great authors, Jodi Perkins does a fantastic job of forging a real connection between the reader and her characters. I adore the way she made me simultaneously hate and love Stryder. It's a testament to her skill. The dynamic betwee...

Whoa. What an exciting novel. Jodi Perkins's *Chasing Echoes* was the perfect mix of intensity and comedy with a totally unique concept that you just don't see in YA books. One page I'm laughing, and the next I'm holding my breath on the edge of my seat. With endearing characters and an engaging plotline, I felt like I was part of the story. *Chasing Echoes* is well written and fascinating from start to finish. I absolutely have to recommend "Chasing Echoes"! The plot is incredibly original and meticulously crafted. Jodi Perkins keeps the story moving at a swift, entertaining clip, and you can't help but adore the characters. It’s such an imaginative and well-constructed narrative. The central plot revolves around Taz and Stryder, enemies stuck together in a time loop that keeps shrinking. What's truly remarkable is how the faster the time loop tightened, the faster I found myself flipping through the ...
