*REREAD TO PREPARE FOR SUNRISE ON THE REAPING*
Still just as good. If you're looking for a great young adult dystopian novel, Suzanne Collins' *Catching Fire (The Hunger Games, #2)* remains a fantastic read. A perfect reread before the new book!

Honestly, the best thing about "Catching Fire (The Hunger Games, #2)" was how little Gale we saw. Suzanne Collins really knows how to keep you hooked, but less Gale is always a win in my book. For more honest book reviews, keep following!

I absolutely love that it's canon in "Catching Fire (The Hunger Games, #2)" by Suzanne Collins that Peeta has literally done nothing wrong in his entire life and must be protected at all costs. He's a precious cinnamon roll, and this book just reinforces that. If you're looking for amazing young adult book reviews, look no further!

Dystopian Perfection +++ After barely surviving the deadly Hunger Games, life in District 12 becomes simple and peaceful; the life of a victor brings tranquility, fame, and well-being. Yet new difficulties don’t take long to appear; being the new celebrity of Panem brings a lot of attention, and of the most dangerous kind. The challenge in the previous tournament does not go unnoticed, and the beginnings of a rebellion start to arise. Under the ever-vigilant eye of the Capitol, not even the vi...

Notes: This one's all about futility, and grappling with the unintended consequences of going along with things, putting on a show, acting decent, altruism, and, well, kissing. Think of it as a surprisingly profound young adult novel, and a compelling read. Suzanne Collins's *Catching Fire (The Hunger Games, #2)* continues the series in strong form. If you're looking for insightful YA dystopian book reviews, this is a great place to start.

Notes: It's a farewell kiss to the ordinary, with 'Catching Fire' by Suzanne Collins igniting danger at every turn. Friends become foes, rebellion simmers, and those "cousins" definitely add fuel to the fire. A fantastic read and a must for fans of Suzanne Collins or anyone looking for gripping YA book reviews!

Binge reading? Me? Nah...>_>Ok, so to refresh my memory of recent events, I watched the final Hunger Games movie on Saturday without a clue who the heck any of those people were. I read the first Hunger Games book yesterday and loved it. Now onto book 2, **Catching Fire** by Suzanne Collins.Loved it too, is that even a surprise? It's awesome! I actually know more and more people from the movie now!So now that I've expressed my love for **Catching Fire**, allow me to rant. I HATE THE CASTIN...

This is quite possibly the **WORST** (or best, depending on your perspective) cliffhanger I have ever encountered. It doesn't just leave you hanging; you're grasping for your life on a fraying thread with nothing to do but hold on (metaphorically, of course). If I had to use one word to sum up this book, it would be *intense*. Everything feels amplified. The compassion, the threats, the action, the betrayal, the gestures, the words—all of it. This must be why it's so addictive. As expected from t...

I went to see Inglourious Basterds a couple of times last month, and there's that scene where Eli Roth and Omar Doom dress up as waiters in the theater, then whip around the corner and kill the Nazi guards to some funny, Ennio Morricone-esque spaghetti-western music. The whole theater laughs, then the film cuts to Hitler laughing, watching a movie of a Nazi soldier killing Americans. It’s one of those great storytelling moments where I feel nice, comfortable, and morally superior, until I realiz...
