My favorite Liane Moriarty novel, *Big Little Lies* is so compelling, so superb in so many ways, it makes me rethink every 5-star rating I've ever given. This is a must-read for fans of women's fiction and suspense! On the surface, this seems like a story I've read a thousand times before. A neighborhood of women keeping secrets. A death, or could it possibly be murder? And an investigation into what really happened underneath the calm, placid facade of small-town Pirriwee. And yet, this was so m...

Okay, so I actually finished *Big Little Lies* this time. And wow, I really don't get what all the fuss is about.
I'm reading a few popular books for a video project, and I wanted to give Liane Moriarty's *Big Little Lies* another shot after not finishing it the first time around. It's one of those books that's perfectly fine as an audiobook, even if it is a little long. You've got catty moms, relationship drama, and some heavier stuff like domestic violence and sexual assault.
But I'm honest...

Like Nicole Kidman said at the Golden Globes: “Wow, the power of women.” And that perfectly encapsulates Liane Moriarty's *Big Little Lies*. This isn't just a beach read; it's a sharply observed, darkly funny, and ultimately moving exploration of female friendships, secrets, and the lies we tell ourselves to survive. If you're looking for gripping book reviews that celebrate women's stories, *Big Little Lies* is a must-read.

Yo, don't mess with these women. Liane Moriarty's *Big Little Lies* is a masterclass in suburban suspense. This isn't your typical beach read; it's a sharp, insightful look at the secrets and lies simmering beneath the surface of seemingly perfect lives. If you're looking for a book review that tells you whether to dive in, consider this your cannonball. Prepare to be hooked from page one. The drama, the characters, the twists – Moriarty nails it all. This book is the ultimate page-turner.

Okay, I haven't watched the *Big Little Lies* series yet. The book itself? It's alright. Definitely readable, and it's one of those you can easily get sucked into. I did enjoy reading *Big Little Lies*. But let's be real, it's pretty surface-level. Sure, it tackles heavy stuff like domestic violence and sexual assault, plus all the stress and drama of being a privileged white woman – the social circles, the kids, all that jazz. But everything feels…light. And that's not always a bad thing. Not e...

I think Stephen King summed up Liane Moriarty's *Big Little Lies* perfectly when he said it is "a hell of a book, funny and scary." I found it to be like the first two seasons of Desperate Housewives before the show started to slowly fall apart (and I've seen every episode so I feel like I'm right... right about the comparison to the book and the fact that the show was never all that great after the first two seasons, but the bigger question is why did I watch all of the show in the first place,...

You know that feeling when you finish a book and wish you could erase it from your memory, just to experience the joy of reading it for the first time all over again?Yeah, *Big Little Lies* is one of those books.I honestly can't think of another author who portrays relationships with such skill and humor as Liane Moriarty. Her characters love and laugh, get on each other's nerves, offer a helping hand, spread rumors, try to improve themselves, cry, and keep secrets—just like real people. In *Big ...

Probably the funniest book about murder and domestic abuse I'll ever read. And that book is Liane Moriarty's *Big Little Lies*. Seriously, if you're after a darkly comedic read that'll keep you guessing, this is it. Think *Desperate Housewives* meets a really twisted crime novel. For a great beach read or a gripping book club pick, you can't go wrong with *Big Little Lies*.

Liane Moriarty has only gone and done it again – written a book that kept me burning the midnight oil because I simply couldn’t put it down. She’s got a real gift for creating characters so believable they could easily be someone you know. Big Little Lies is a story about parents behaving badly, plain and simple. It’s also a sharp and witty tale about the messy realities of kids, teenagers, friends, husbands, wives, second wives, and exes. Right from the start, you're teased with the knowledge t...

This 480-page book felt like a breezy 300-page read. I was completely captivated; I found the plot, structure, and tone to be absolutely brilliant. I devoured it in one sitting. This is a fantastic book, highly recommend for anyone looking for great book reviews! On the surface, *Big Little Lies* is about a group of parents whose kids are starting kindergarten. We've got the usual cliques, the eager beavers, and tons of parents who think their children are just *so* special. The over-parenting is...
