Part two was amazing from start to finish. It leaves me wondering what roles Lucifer's brothers are gonna play as Dracula races to bring down the Church. And I'm wondering what happens from here now that the Church now have the weapons to defeat him. I now see the importance of the religious history and I hope this author keeps up the good work.

I was so desperate to see how this story unfolds that I read Volume 2 in one sitting. It was well worth it. This was everything that Volume 1 was, and so much more. The re-enactment of The Battle Of Pavia was pure poetry to a lover of history and truly brilliant. Even better was Dracula's involvement with the Tudors and the stunning climax where the hero, Jean Pelou, stands up against the world's greatest evil. The way the author blends dark graphic horror with moments of wondrously soft sensiti...

The author of “Dracula Chronicles” novel series, Shane KP O’Neill, got sucked into a mythical world just as he began and kept on studying the historical figure of Vlad Dracula after watching Christopher Lee’s Dracula on silver screen for the first time. Deciding on materializing a series of nine novels according to his plan which combine his interest in both Medieval history and writing, O’Neill drags his readers with the first two volumes in the series into the unknown depth of the myth of Drac...

It has been quite a journey, starting with Birth of the Monster and then right into Bound by Blood Volume 1, and I've enjoyed it every step ( or page ) of the way. Volume 2 continues the saga of Vlad Dracula as he makes his way through his early years. Again, wonderfully detailed and with just the right amount of violence and gore, this book was very satisfying to read. I hope to read more of the king of the undead in future books by author Shane O'Neill. He obviously loves the topic and it show...

Europe is in a state of upheaval.Continuing their campaign against the Catholic Church, Dracula and his vampire family journey the continent, playing upon the hopes, fears, and ambitions of the power players of Rome, England, France, Spain, and more to pave the way for Lucifer’s greatest triumph. The Church, of course, isn’t about to take things lying down: not only have they enlisted Dracula’s hated brother, the now-vampiric and once-cursed Radu, but they’ve also rediscovered another son of Vla...

Wow, I so loved this book. Real vampires, real horror, a dark Gothic story, and sad too. I'm going to tell everyone I know about The Dracula Chronicles.

Dracula's story continues on from the night in Wittenburg where he prompted Martin Luther into penning his 95 theses and thus initiate the split in the Catholic Church. His journey begins in earnest from here, taking him to Spain to the court of the young King and new Emperor, Charles of the Houses of Aragon, Castile and Burgundy. Spain is heading to war with France over the sovereignty of the Italian states. With the Pope supporting Francois, Dracula is quick to side with young Charles and aid h...

Not much to say other than it obviously it's the second half of the brilliantly written Dracula Chronicles. It goes without saying that if you enjoyed the first book you'll enjoy this.I found the two books absolutely fantastic and as I have written before about these books the attention to detail is second to none and make it read like a factual history book rather than vampire fantasy I just wish there was a volume 3!.
