Hello, hopefully consumer/fan! I am Curtis Andrew Burton (friends and family call me Tony). I am the author of two novels: Jacob's Letters, which I published in 2019, and Bloom, which I published in April of this year. The two books couldn't be more different: Jacob's Letters is a serious work, an "epistolary bildungsr...

This isn’t just about romance — it’s about addiction, validation, and the need to feel wanted. The author captures Bloom’s internal conflict well. The interplay between sexuality and power is handled with boldness.

If you like messy relationships and morally gray characters, you’ll appreciate this book. No one here is perfect. The emotional push-and-pull keeps things engaging, though it can be uncomfortable at times.

Michael Bloom is not your typical romantic lead, and that’s what makes this story stand out. His vulnerability, insecurity, and desperation for connection feel real. The romantic tension is sharp and unpredictable. I finished it in one sitting.

This book dives into complicated relationships and identity struggles. Bloom’s journey toward self-awareness is both frustrating and heartfelt. The romantic entanglements are messy but feel intentional. If you enjoy character-driven LGBTQ+ fiction with emotional tension, this one’s worth reading.

This book surprised me. What begins as a story about weight loss turns into something much deeper, a meditation on loneliness, love, and what it means to truly change.

A surprisingly tender story about transformation and self acceptance, wrapped in sharp wit and emotional truth. I couldn’t stop thinking about it after I finished.

Michael Bloom might be one of the most relatable characters I’ve read in a long time. His struggle with identity, self worth, and love hit way too close to home, in the best way possible.

what an thoroughly strange book. every single character interaction was bizarre and unbelievable. maybe people like this exist in the real world, but i'm glad to have never encountered any of them. Tabitha shouting "Hettie Pig," Mike shouting "HUZZAH!," the therapist asking Mike to take his shirt off, Mike getting boners during swimming lessons from his love interests CHILDREN. wtf? thanks to Goodreads for the free copy of this book, but it's definitely not a book I would ever recommend to anybo...

A fun read. It jumps right in to the stalled life of the main character as he realizes it’s time to make some changes. The journey ahead includes some interesting scenes with some quirky characters in a combination of funny and heart-felt moments as Bloom learns to be true to himself.

Great book reminds you that in any relationship to always have to be true to yourself and be happy or move on.Michael Bloom had to make changes in his relationship for the better and it involved breaking up with Tabitha and meeting someone else. Recommend this romance book its hard to put down because all the twist.
