Time travel just fries my brain! ⌛🤯💥 Seriously, trying to wrap my head around time paradoxes always gives me a headache. "Artemis Fowl: The Time Paradox" by Eoin Colfer is a wild ride, but be prepared to do some mental gymnastics. If you're looking for a fun fantasy book review, just be warned: time travel isn't for the faint of heart (or brain!).

The *Artemis Fowl* series has consistently delivered an enjoyable adventure, never shying away from real stakes, including the death of a major character in a previous installment. Yet, it's equally brimming with hilarious toilet humor, mostly thanks to Mulch Diggums and his bum-flap overalls that allow him to, well… digest dirt in a unique dwarfish way. While Artemis is human, he's managed to maintain a connection with the fairy world, especially with Holly Short (a fairy) and Foaly (a centaur)...

"Fabulicious" "Peace be inside me, tolerance all around me, forgiveness in my path. Now, Mervall, show me where the filthy human is so that I may feed him his organs." I've never been a fan of time travel: too many things to think about. But I guess I should've seen this coming, with Eoin Colfer wanting to explore pretty much every fantasy element he could think of. Still, I think this became one of my favorite time travel books. It's not just because the ever-so-entertaining younger versi...

Artemis Fowl faces his most formidable adversary yet -- himself!!! So, a time paradox story; can the *Artemis Fowl* franchise pull it off where *Heroes*, the *Star Trek Voyager* finale, *12 Monkeys*, and countless other franchises failed spectacularly?I'm reaching an age where it feels like sci-fi or fantasy franchises *have* to include a time travel story to be worth reading. Yet, somehow, Eoin Colfer manages to craft a pretty entertaining time paradox narrative with some impactful twists for t...

Just finished reading Artemis Fowl: The Time Paradox – Book 6 in the Artemis Fowl series, devoured it on my Kindle. Honestly, I'm giving it a straight 5 out of 5 stars! This one's my absolute favorite so far. Artemis Fowl becomes a big brother to twins, Beckett and Myles. But there's a heartbreaking twist – his mom is desperately ill. With no known cure, Artemis is prepared to do anything, even mess with time itself, to save her. The final four chapters are absolutely insane! Eoin Colfer really ...

A truly gripping tale... reading novels like these reminds you that alongside all the 'popular literature,' there's still such a thing as 'meaningful literature.' Cheers to Eoin Colfer! If you're looking for a great fantasy book, read "Artemis Fowl: The Time Paradox."

You clearly tossed the rule book out the window, and if you haven't, you've definitely never cracked it open. I enjoyed *Artemis Fowl: The Time Paradox* more than the previous installment. However, I still encountered a few minor issues. In this book, Artemis's mother falls seriously ill. The only cure lies with an extinct species. He seeks help from the Fairies, and with their assistance, Artemis travels back in time to locate this creature. But he discovers that his younger self, along w...

I absolutely LOVED this book, Artemis Fowl: The Time Paradox! Eoin Colfer consistently delivers stories that are just pure fun to read. The ending was fantastic, and the whole concept of time travel, Artemis encountering his past self, and then being outsmarted by his younger self was brilliant. After finishing Artemis Fowl: The Time Paradox, I immediately want to dive back into the first book and read it again!Seriously, everyone needs to give the Artemis Fowl series a chance! It's an amazing s...

(A-) 84% | Very GoodNotes: Where logic is a headache (literally), our hero's driven by hormones, and sense leads to kiss-regret: a fandom ship goes down in flames.*Check out progress updates for detailed commentary: Progress updates:03/26/2024 (1) - Preamble(1) Most of my memories about this, from the first time I read it, was that all the time travel complexities hurt my brain, but in a good way—in an exercise no-pain-no-gain sort of way. There's a lot of mental heavy-lifting.- I felt the same ...
