6 out of 5 stars!! Seriously amazing!!! A new all-time favorite read for me. I absolutely love how Stephen King's *11/22/63* blends so many genres like historical fiction, romance, and time travel/sci-fi! Stephen King is such a detailed writer, which made me feel completely immersed in the story. You can tell an insane amount of research and thought went into *11/22/63*. When the main character travels back in time, every tiny detail – from how people talk to what they buy and the cultural norms...

The thought of messing up the whole universe just to be with the person I love? Yeah, that would have crossed my mind too after reading Stephen King's *11/22/63*. Seriously, this book isn't just a time travel story; it's a love letter to a different era and a meditation on the choices we make. If you're looking for captivating book reviews, especially ones that'll make you think about the consequences of your actions, grab *11/22/63*.

Even though *11/22/63* has been swirling inside my brain for a little over a week now, I haven't had the chance to properly sit down and write out a coherent review. Life is busy, and yet I cannot shake the feeling of pleasure I received from reading this book. It is a masterpiece, no doubt, but also the type of story that is suited to King's old style of dialogue and flair for throwback culture. Dare I suggest that this book is Stephen King's unicorn? Clearly he is immensely talented, and a goo...

“We never know which lives we influence, or when, or why.” I still can't wrap my head around why Stephen King isn't considered a writer of "serious literature." Is it because he writes sci-fi and horror? Because his books are so gripping, entertaining, and wildly popular? For me, King achieves what very few authors can – he transforms fast-paced genre fiction into well-written, thought-provoking literature. If you're looking for the best book reviews, Stephen King's novels are a great place t...

How in the world could a wife-beating, mentally degenerate little shit, who defected to multiple countries (USA, Russia, and tried for Cuba) – this guy: [Image of Lee Harvey Oswald] kill the charismatic, handsome war hero, the most powerful man in the world? [Image of John F. Kennedy] It just doesn't make sense. It never has. Oswald doesn't fit the profile of someone who could pull off an assassination of that magnitude. He's a semi-educated hillbilly, but he's surprisingly crafty. Kennedy ...

Hi, my name is Jake Epping, and I’m a dull high school English teacher who's decided to go back in time to prevent JFK from being assassinated. I’ve decided to do this primarily because a fat man who serves me 53-year-old cheeseburgers (with whom I share only a vague casual acquaintance) has told me that I should. *There is no other real reason for me to be doing this. There really isn’t.* Once I’m there, I will also risk my life to save a bunch of other people that I barely know because I want ...

2012: Go ahead, book snobs. Haughtily proclaim that Stephen King isn't Literature. I'll retort with a Pratchett quote: "Susan hated Literature. She'd much prefer to read a good book." And nobody argues with Sir Terry. (Since 'a picture is worth a thousand words,' the above is a three-thousand-word summary of this book. Impressive, no? And also – “dancing is life”.) As you probably guessed from the not-too-spoiler-sensitive title, 11/22/63 is a book about time travel. My love for it is an except...

Thank you, Steve. You were wrong all those years ago when you said you weren't very good at writing about love and intimacy. The love story here is full of honesty and tenderness. When I got to the last couple of pages, I was crying so hard I couldn't read.11/22/63 is a supernatural, quasi-historical, philosophical, science-fiction love story. If you're looking for your next great read, consider this Stephen King novel. If you're avoiding it because you think Stephen King only writes horror, plea...

Just look at the size of this book. Look at the size of *Under the Dome*. Check when *11/22/63* was published. Check when *Under the Dome* was published. *eyetwitch* Real. Utterly compelling. Stephen King outlines a clear end goal in *11/22/63*, and the novel benefits enormously as the journey to that destination unfolds. There's constant suspense and wonder as the reader considers when—and how—we'll get to that fateful titular date, not to mention what will happen when we get there, and on...
