I Am a Villain, So What?
Synopsis
Imagine waking up inside the body of a character destined to be nothing more than a stepping stone for the hero. In *I Am a Villain, So What?*, that's exactly what happens to James. He finds himself inhabiting Lucien Ashborne, a minor antagonist from a game he once played, a character infamous for provoking the hero and then unceremoniously vanishing from the narrative.
Now, James is trapped in Lucien's reality. He inherits Lucien's tarnished reputation, his noble family's disdain, and a position at the very bottom of the academy's social ladder. The game he knew is now a dangerous world without any guaranteed victories, where the protagonist's party views him with suspicion and hostility.
But James has something Lucien never did: meta-knowledge. Armed with fragmented memories of the game and a barely functional system, he's determined to defy his predetermined fate. He doesn't aspire to heroism or redemption. His only goal is survival. This is a story about forging your own path, even when the world insists you're destined to fail. It's about challenging expectations, rewriting your narrative, and proving that even a villain can become something more, on his own terms. Will James succeed in carving out a new destiny, or will he become another casualty in someone else's story?
