An excellent book that begins where the Keeper's Quest ends and begins right into this book. Once again I find myself living the adventures of Chase and Ellie. Kelly does a great job making sure that with each page you are left with wanting to know what happens next. I can't wait to read the finale book Keeper's Counsel.

This is the third book in the Keeper's Saga.Keeping with the improvements in the second book, this third book is even more clearly written and thought out. This time, part of the chapters are from Chase's perspective, so you can experience what he goes through, and the rest are through Ellie's perspective. I really liked this contrast of perspectives for the way the plot played through this book. I'm further delighted that a fourth book has been written--this was originally meant to be a trilogy...

Anxious for the final book!

I have spent the last few days reading straight through the trilogy. I can now put the books down and get something else done in my life. I will be watching closely for the final book to come out. it should be exciting.....so many questions to have answered still.

This is easily the best book in the Keeper's series to date, and I attest it to both an increase in the author's writing experience and the fact that this book is now past introductions of new characters and new plot lines. As a result, we get a more engaging story with some darker, more gripping turns which serves to flesh out the characters personalities and traits even more.The story progresses very well, and it is easy to turn page after page until the book is done. The Keeper's Saga continues with a bang! This intensely adventurous novel pulled me in, taking me on a journey of time travel, heart ache, danger and love. The stakes are high, with both Ellie and Chase in peril. Will Chase escape the enemy? And how? Most of all, will Ellie's heart wander in his absence? She does, after all, believe him dead. The Keeper's Defiance was a fast, gripping and satisfying read.

Very much enjoyed this series.
