This book has everything, from suspense to complex, wounded characters, to a bittersweet-but-satisfying ending. Some details I saw coming and a few surprised me. I liked the way the author wove the story and ramped the tension as it barreled toward the end.

If you enjoy books that are gritty and real rather than neat and tidy, and you like a healthy dose of police procedural with your thrillers, The Seventh Man is for you.
