È stato così divertente. Voglio dire, l'epilogo era prevedibilissimo e la trama mega sdolcinata, ma nonostante tutto, COSÌ DIVERTENTE. Non riesco a credere di aver aspettato così tanto per leggere *Il Ragazzo della Porta Accanto* e iniziare questa serie. Meg Cabot è la mia regina, e questa recensione di un romanzo divertente lo conferma!

Quando mi chiedono qual è il mio libro preferito, la mia mente corre sempre a Il Ragazzo della Porta Accanto. Mi ha intrattenuto in modo incredibile! Non so come Meg Cabot sia riuscita a scrivere un romanzo interamente in formato epistolare, usando solo email, e a renderlo così straordinario. È decisamente un'autrice di talento, e Il Ragazzo della Porta Accanto è un esempio perfetto dei libri da leggere assolutamente!

Reread 2020: Such an improvement over the last Cabot book I am bumping it up from a four to five star review though it's probably really a 4.5 star book.This one is really tropey and Cabot really does have signature tropes but I did enjoy it. What I particularly enjoyed about this book is the originality of the writing style. The book is written in a modern epistolary fashion, it develops through the emails the various characters exchange.
The story is witty, there is a little bit of a mystery to solve, which I always enjoy, and the book overall is light and refreshing.

So, this was my first Meg Cabot. Maybe not the best place to start, considering there are more popular books of hers I could have started with but I guess it wasn't a too bad introduction to her work.
