Lots of interesting suspects in this one, and the ending left me slightly vexed, which might explain the reviews. But this author is excellent and he shows us the worlds of witness protection, family members who aren't quite sure of each other, and scurrilous characters who get drawn into investigating grisly murders. Well written as all of his are.

The British jargon & expressions were a little 0ff-putting until I got used to the culture. Writing style not very sophisticated, many typos & malapropisms. I don't think the plot was very innovative.

Shadow Of The Redeemer.
This book will have you guessing to the very end,it did me. I guessed so many times that everyone was guilty and I still got it wrong. If your looking for a fast paced murder / mystery then look no further. As with all Anthony's books it is gruesome and very well written. Very highly recommended.

This is a "dime store novel", written in rudimentary English. Very difficult to get through without reading it out loud to a child. Why do mysteries, crime and thriller books have to be so poorly written?

The book itself was very good but the typos and grammatical errors were incredibly distracting. It was like reading the rough draft. Good content, but I felt like I should be redlining the mistakes.

But then more victims were found. Which meant that the killer had a partner. But who could it be? One of his sons? When the family changed names and moved south to Cornwall to escape the media frenzy, more murdered girls began turning up nearby. When they went on vacation to Wales, another girl was...
