This is the second book I’ve read by Anthony Hulse and it is just as thoroughly enjoyable as the first book I read, Beyond the Dunes. Another serial killer is on the loose, one who sings nursery rhymes as his victims die and leaves a gruesome clue carved on the victim's forehead as well as something stuffed down their throats. A team of detectives gather together to crack the case but evidence of who is behind the killings is hard to find. The resulting press reports about the killer singing nur...

Trigger warning: very violent deaths! If you like the gruesome, then his is for you. I’ve given it a high rating because it is a good book, but not one I liked reading. I like my murders less harsh/descriptive. Set in London, in plenty of places that I know (I had a good time following the action) a serial killer is on the loose. There are plenty of suspects and plenty of mystery, and a page-turning extravaganza.

Finished this book in a day! It was an easy read but addictive, full of twists and turns! It certainly kept me guessing.

Anthony Hulse.
Gruesome.
Nurtured Evil.
Straight from the very beginning the tempo is set for what is a gruesome read. There is at least one murderer on the loose but probably two in London. Some of these deaths are very violent so beware. All the chapters are nice and short, which I really like. This book is better than any James Patersons, very highly recommended.
