There are two stories that run alongside each other in this novel. The investigation into the murder of three women and the investigation into a strange musical talent in New York are all held together by the protagonist's relationships with each other. The book is part murder mystery and part horror and sits together well. The writing is assured, the dialogue believable and the plot moves along at a fair pace, as we discover the truth in both events. It is an enjoyable and quick read, and I’ll ...
