I absolutely loved this book! This was the first time that I've ever read a book by Cheri Gillard and it definitely won't be the last. I'm super excited to read the second one in the series :)

This book starts out with some painful teenage dialogue. But it improves, and pretty soon a wanna-be good, not-quite-angel is trying to spare a girl the savagery of his own father. Talk about other worldly family dynamics. If you hang in, you get rewarded.

With excitement and intrigue from minute one, this is a tough read to put down. With clear and beautiful imagery as well as plot twists and turns this story doesn't disappoint. Glad to know there's a sequel on the way...

Firstly I'd like to thank Cherri Gillard for finding me capable enough to write a review for her book in exchange of her book. It was quite an adventurous journey. It was written in a very captivating and mesmerising way. And indeed very smartly. The author did a commendable job by entwining Time travelling, fallen angels, and a bit of philosophy in one book. An excellent adventure! Smartly written, an engaging plot that warms the heart and captures the teen imagination. I particularly identified with the richly developed characters.
