This book is trash. The first third is almost pleasant, a collection of "scamp" bios focussing on standout societal misfits that, for the most part, honestly deserve recognition for their contributions to art & culture. I'm always keen to support independent writers, so as I dashed through meandering profiles of Marilyn, Jimi & co.
