Old enemies become... frenemies (?). This book is way more complex than the previous ones. You start to like characters you *know* you shouldn't, and hate characters you thought you liked. Ryan Mullaney toys with you and your emotions, plucking strings like a concert violinist. "Followers of the Storm (A Treasure Huntress Novel)" makes the others pale by comparison.
